OT1 and NT1 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Makes many jokes during class that usually are very dry. Very knowledgeable but a little hard to listen too in longer classes

NT1 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Lectures can be very hard to stay focused on. Tests were pretty hard to study for because they were VERY specific. Take Ward for New and Old Testament if possible.

He is one of my favorite teachers. I don't know why he gets a bad rap but he is fun and likeable. You learn a lot and are engaged with the material, etc. I highly recommend taking from Trimiew!

BIB111 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

The only thing that stuck out about this class was that every period he talked about either death or sex...or both...

He kept switching the test forms throughout the semester, which was so confusing. Also, his lectures were boring.

So...Old Testament with Dr. Trimiew was the first Bible class I took at Covenant, and it was awful. Previous reviews cover anything that I could really say about this class. He's a very nice guy who knows his stuff, but that's not always reflected in his class. I wish I had known what class would be like before I took it.

alot of BS assignments. cancelled the final and assigned a 2000-word essay instead a mere 14 hours before the final. hopefully i won't fail my other finals because of time diverted to writing this essay. very unprofessional in this regard, but official reviews at covenant were over 3 weeks ago, so anything is fair game...

old&new test Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

would never take another class with him. i slept, and i dont sleep in class. says "um" and "in this context" way too much. picky on tests. really strict with attendance. gives you too much work and not enough time on tests. essay due every week in new test. monotone. goes off on really random tangents that definitely do not help, only confuse.

multiple Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

compassionate and caring don't have that much to do with being a good teacher - organized in other words. he uses the same words repeatedly in his sentences and is very unorganized in the classroom. he gives threats to students about calling on them, but never EVER does he do what he threatens. it was the end of the term b4 he got anything out ofus

Trimiew may not be personable in class, but he has a wealth of knowledge and experience that can be drawn upon if you have the work ethic to get at it. Engage him in clase, work to understand the curriculum and you'll be better for it in the end.

OT Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

tests come from nowhere, if you think you're ready for one, you must be good at reading between the lines in the text. all and all, he gives grades at the end of the semester, you don't exactly earn them.

OT Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Absolutely awful. Tests have barely anything to do with the classes. He says the same phrases over and over again. In order to do well you have to go and then just study a bunch of details. He sucks.

Interesting classes, although they have little to do with what's on the test. If you have a solid Biblical knowledge from your upbringing it won't be that hard.

He's a great guy and I thought his classes were interesting. However, his tests seem to be pulled out of thin air. Don't bother doing the review sheet. Just study details and you'll do fine. B+
