orgo 1 and 2 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

He is a nice guy but terrible professor. Dont even bother opening the textbook because his exams do not resemble the material at all. Purposely puts tough and tricky questions. Does not give good practice problems. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

Dr. DiGrandi is a great professor! The class is obviously a difficult subject, and his exams aren't exactly easy, but he is always straight forward about what you will be tested on and he's also always willing to drop everything to help you if you need it. Really great guy for a really difficult class.

I think he assumes everyone is keeping up with his pace. But that's just because people get too intimidated to admit they are clueless. He's very clear, don't get me wrong. But some people just need him to go slower. I'm doing well so far, so I'm not complaining. But you really have to try your hardest in this class. If you don't, you're screwed.

digrandi stressed what needed to be stressed at the beginning of the courses & throughout the semester. follow it & you should be fine. i relied on the textbook & practice problems a lot -- digrandi thought the concepts (which is a lot already). you can reach him thru email whenever, & will respond soon after. very approachable.

Literally can be replaced with YouTube and Google. The textbook isn't the best either. He's one of the nicest guys around on campus, but it's clear he's a researcher first and a teacher second. He teaches as if it's all a review session in my opinion, his lectures aren't helpful unless you already are familiar with the material. Frustrating tests.

Extremely helpful and smart teacher. If you do not understand something ask for help whether during or after class, or even through email. Do all the problems in the book, know your mechanisms cold, refresh old material (it builds every test), dont memorize but understand.

Biochem: He does not understand the material. The class is an exercise in memorization. If you ask him a question, he says he'll get back to you but never does. His lectures are textbook summary slides. His tests come from a bank. There is no reasonable expectation of necessary concepts. I am disappointed.

Great guy, really understanding and genuinely interested in his students. Good teacher, however his exams are BRUTAL so you MUST study and pay attention, no room for slacking. Otherwise one of the best Natural Science professors at Lincoln Center, hands down. Definitely take him

One of the best FU nat sci professors. Material was a bit difficult given it was his first time teaching. Still, he was always available for students and genuinely a nice professor. Take him!

Sweetest and most helpful professor the natural science dept. has to offer. Goes above and beyond to help you better your grade. His exams, however, are the most brutal things you will likely experience in your college career...
