This is a math methods course for physics and engineering students. You shouldn't expect it to be an easy class; however, if you study the handouts well, and use other reference books, you can easily get a grade above B.

Fantastic teacher, excellent man, very very smart. He really cares about the well being of his students and looks after them. He knows what he is talking about, I have never had any class where the teacher was so much in command of the subject. I owe to him my deeper understanding of Quantum Statistical Mechanics. Lovely man indeed,

Grade should be below 1. Hands out a packets at beginning of semester that contain illegible material that is crossed out, written over, and photocopied 1000's of times. Wrote the course notes 40 years ago and goes over them the same way with unwillingness to explain material. Horrible Teacher! I hope he retires soon.
