Professor Godfrey is funny, well versed and has interesting lectures. He gives test reviews; However, he grades extremely harshly. I had a 4.0 until this class and I've never put in so much work to end up with a B. He also doesn't answer e-mails and if you're not a strong writer don't even attempt his classes.

He grades harsh. If u want a easy "A" this is not the class for u. A guy was upset at the fact that his answers on his test were right but not written exactly the way the prof. wanted it written. His class is picture powerpoints & lecture,few videos. LISTEN TO EVERY WORD HE SAYS CAUSE THE BOOK WON'T HARDLY (OR NOT EVEN) HELP YOU.

I'm bad at history, I also have hardly any interest in it; but almost all majors won't let you dodge it. At first I found this class quite challenging; no electronics was a downside too, but Godfrey gave highly informative and VERY interesting lectures which helped me. With his help on the final, I passed with an A and greatly enjoyed the class!

He is awesome!He tells you the first day of class how to get an A.There's a primary source paper,a book review he gives extra credit assignments,the tests are easy but study!there is an essay but what he asks is on the review sheet,which is given a week prior and I never bought the book but take great notes!use wikipedia to fill in the gaps

Best history instructor I've had since middle school. Lectures are interesting and give you all the information you need to know for the test.

Great teacher. He does not set u up to fail. He gives what u need to know to pass, you just have to study and show up. Material is easy to follow and for some reason, lectures were good to listen t, normaly lectures are boring.
