Dr. B. is enthusiastic about her classes and the way she teaches really hleps students learn to apply the lessons to the real world, if the class is taken seriously. She is hard on her students pushes them, however she is extremely graceful and understanding if something goes wrong. She has a passion to teach and see her students grow

Agree with 10/22/12. She is not hard. I think people are mistaking bad communication with hard. Sh'e had students leave her seminar (synonomous as saying degree program) based on her attitude. Either you are a yes man, or you will have a hard time getting a psych degree.

Many students say that Dr. B is hard, she isn't. She just expects highly of her students. If you are a lazy person, then she isn't the professor for you. If you want to succeed in life as a psychology major at Olivet College, learn to love her and do what she says. She knows what she is talking about and she has prepared me for Graduate School

Dina sticks out in my head as the worst professor that I had in college - I was surprised at her rating. She gives inconsistent instruction, grades down for things that she never asked for and based on "feeling," and refuses to discuss concerns with students. She wouldn't even let us keep our tests, she locked them up in her office. Avoid, avoid!

Dina is a genius in the field to say the least. Yes, she is hard, but she is the only professor at Olivet I have ever truly learned from. Negative comments only come from those who didn't try in her classes. She is always willing to help and because of her I feel prepared for graduate school after Olivet.
