Professor Aagesen is honestly the best teacher I've ever had. He is someone that is not only incredibly knowledgeable in his field, but he also inspires students to pursue whatever they deem to be important. Human Geography was not too difficult, but always interesting as Aagesen as so many stories from his travels.

BEST PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY TEACHER!I had ZERO interest in this field but Aagesen makes it fun and interesting. And I love when he goes out into tangents. If you have to take a Natural Science Ged-Ed, take one with him as the professor

educates even the most uninterested, Aagesen is a phenomenal professor by being able to relate to students and present information is a clear fundamental manner that is not condescending or elitist. Had no interest in geography before this class. now its my major. If you need to take a natural science take Aagesen.

If you need to take a science- TAKE AAGESEN. It will be the best decision you ever make. You don't have to read the textbook. Just take notes, show up to class (even if he says you don't have to), and just listen. He'll keep you interested and you'll fully enjoy yourself. You'll never regret taking any class with him.

Aagesen is the man. Great professor, easy labs, interesting stories what more could I ask for? The tests are a little more difficult than I thought they would be, but I would definitely suggest taking this for your natural science. He makes me want to go to class.

If you're looking for a good way to fill your natural science requirement, there is no better class to take! I am science phobic but I managed to pull of an A in this class. Aagesen is an amazing professor. Very entertaining; classes are almost always interesting and he has a great habit of ending class early.

Easily the best professor/class I've ever taken at Geneseo. Aagesen is the coolest guy and I always enjoyed class. Didn't really read the textbook at all, but you do need to go to class because all test stuff came from lectures (unless he specifically says so). Tests are easy if you pay attention and look over your notes.

Greatest teacher I've ever had at Geneseo. He's hilarious, fun, and so inspiring! He makes me want to be a geography major just to take more classes by him!

Class was interesting and professor was really chill. Tests were a little tricky, have to be an active listener. Not stressful at all. I would highly reccomend the class (and professor) to anyone.

Super nice guy, always willing to help and really cares about students. The class was a little tough for me, but if you go to him for help it makes a huge difference--he'll take your effort into consideration when he does final grades. Take good notes, go to lectures, and you'll be fine. Labs are pretty easy too.

Pretty easy, but you MUST go to class and take very good notes on lectures!! Tests are all from notes, unless he says otherwise--so if you don't have damn fine notes, you're screwed. Makes class enjoyable with personal anecdotes. A very goofy man. I kind of wish he were my dad.

Very nice guy, always willing to answer your questions without making you feel like an idiot, material is straight forward, labs are all easy, don't need to read from the book AT ALL, an excellent class to take to fill your natural science gen ed.

one of the best teachers at geneseo. tests are extremely easy, straightforward, right from the notes he gives. dont have to read the 'textbook' at all. he is very laid back, easy A. really makes you want to see the world, b/c of his stories/slides of countless adventures around the world. love him.

Dr. Aagesen is one of my favorite professors at Geneseo. Class is interesting and he's very easy to approach if you ever need any help. He really makes an effort to get to know all the students in the class. Go to class, pay attention, and look over your notes before the tests and you'll do fine.

Physical Geography is a boring class, but he makes it enjoyable. He's funny and he presents the material clearly. Usually, he ends class a few minutes early. The tests aren't very difficult IF you study the notes for a few days. Overall, he's a very good teacher.

Amazing teacher and amazign guy. Tests are not hard, and the class is interesting. Even if if wasn't, he would make it interesting because he is hilarious. He came into class one day with a dress on. He truly cares about the students. Amazing!!!

He's a great teacher, he's funny and entertaining, tells interesting stories and you never have to read the book to do really good on tests that are right from notes he basically gives you!

The guy's awesome. His tests are multiple choice and T/F. If you study a little and go to class, it's an easy A. Labs don't usually take the full time either.

By far, one of the best professors I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Thoroughly enjoyed his classes, and it's a rare occurrence when a teacher takes the time to get to know his students on a personal level. Just can't say enough about this guy. 5 stars.
