This is a wonderful professor! Not only does he engage you with the course material, he inspires you to always become active in bettering yourself. Responds immediately to emails, always reviews weekly quizzes before and after, not a lot of homework. I learned so many amazing new things in this class, and I'd take it all over if I could.

Go-to class and you'll get an A or B. Simple as that. Not only is he an easy grader, he also makes learning not a complete chore.

Great professor. Very engaging and makes things that are hard to understand crystal clear. He gave the class an opportunity to get extra credit by going to meditate for 2 times a week for 4 weeks I think. It was a great experience! I loved his class!

I took a basic philosophy and religion course and found that he is a wonderful teacher and an even better speaker. Interesting, smart, kind. Recommend!

Very interesting class, mandatory attendance but I was very willing to attend. He has an intense style of teaching, somewhat hands-off at times, but the main topics did make it through to me. An engaging class with only two papers and an attendance grade. Easy A or B for those looking for humanities GE and some Eastern Philosophy

okay for those of you that do not want to learn or try. you will not like this class, he is challenging bcuz of all of the eastern philosophers u will be reading about. He is tight, funny, wants to engage the class and get you to understand different ways of thinking. so yes do take him, but it won't be the easiest class.p.s. he does pop quizes

Great instructor who will teach you how to think differently and understand concepts better. He's got a sense of humor and a serious side to him which is good. He's very interesting and calming to listen to.

He's a very interesting teacher, attendance is not mandatory but there is a lot of reading and if you need clarification it's good to go to class. Many quizzes in the beginning of the semester. Overall he's a great teacher if you actually do your work and want to understand.

He is pretty chill. Definitely an independent class, you have to be responsible enough to do the studying yourself.

The best professor I've ever had. He scares you at the beginning by giving you too much reading from the textbook and in every class, but overall you end up learning a lot more than you have imagined. I highly recommend him if you are ready to become a responsible student. I really like the way he teaches. :)

he's an awful teacher who assigns way to much homework that is not understandable. He also tries to convert you to his way of thinking about everything
