Doing well in this class requires lots of outside work. Do ALL problems in the book, read all assigned pages, and stay on top of things. He is very approachable and understanding one-on-one.

Avoid at all costs if you are not a genius. He is a nice guy, but enjoys challenging students by creating super hard tests and quizzes.

He seems like a nice guy I would give him that but not a good professor. If you ask a question he manages to avoid it somehow. I read, studied and took notes but still some problems on quizzes came out of nowhere.

Do NOT take his class. Tests you on things we haven't even gone over. His test problems are way harder than any of the homework problems. His powerpoints are his scanned hand written notes from 10+ years ago and are often different from the info in the book. His class is way too challenging for a gen chem class!

Very unapproachable. Tests are lopsided when it comes to how many points for each problem. Does not answer questions and does not go over problems assigned as homework. Avoid.

Talks with his eyes closed and without shoes on, doesn't go over homework problems and sometimes ends class halfway through explaining a problem. Doesn't like to answer questions and gives way harder tests than the other chem teachers. He curves his tests so our class has the same average as the others but the average is usually a D. Avoid him.
