chm 090 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: A

Chemistry in general is not easy but Mrs. Aycock made it easy. I have always struggled with math and science classes (struggled as in getting C's and D's) and in chemistry 090 I ended up with an A in the class! She is great at explaining concepts in a clear way for everyone to understand! You cant go wrong taking her class!!

She is a good instructor. She gives the test back to you at the end of the semester to look over. The final exam is mostly the same questions that are on the test. She posted links to the book on blackboard (purchase not mandatory). Know the vocab because that was mainly what was on the final exam. Know how to do the problems sets. Great teacher.

Print the powerpoints before class so you don't have to take as many notes...but there are a lot of notes. Good instructor, but hard class..but I am not good with math or chemistry. Does not give you back tests which makes it hard to study for final. Study problem sets and you will do well on tests.

Chemistry in general sucks. There's no way around it. The material is extremely boring and difficult to understand. Thank god I had Mrs. Ayecock. She is very personable and caring. She provided powerpoint presentations so the whole class was basically "filling in the blanks". I highly recommend her. If you read this, GOOD JOB!

CHM090 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Beginning was a little rough since she was new to the college. However, she couldn't have made it any easier. Gave you powerpoints ahead of time and the tests were a breeze. If you read the textbook, do the suggested practice questions, and do the review questions, you will ace this class. Beware of other students who don't study or interrupt class

chm90 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Prof. Aycock was a great teacher! She went above and beyond to make the class easy, even providing us with the power points before class to make note taking easier. The beginning was a little rough but it was her first time teaching college. As the semester went on she became more comfortable and class went smoother.

Prof Aycock is an excellent professor. She teaches college level chem, not preschool, and those of us who need a solid foundation to move on to more difficult chem classes got a great start with Prof. Aycock. About 25% of the class didn't seem to understand the concept of "college" and complained that they actually had to study outside of class.

CHM090 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

She does not explain the material well, expresses that we were not worth her time and that she was not paid enough for after class assistance and she had no office hours. If you are only going to take one class (chemistry) and have no life and able to teach yourself, go ahead and take this challenge. P.S. I learned better from Youtube.com
