Attendance is taken at the beginning of class by swiping your ID card. Lectures are given by PowerPoint that are posted on Blackboard later. Some class meetings you meet with your groups, where you will do different group activities for a grade. Simple class.

Scott was a good teacher. Gives review sheets before each test which are very helpful and practice questions on the study guide mimic test questions. Get a clicker, because clicker points help boost grade. Tests arn't hard as long as you know the study guide. Most people get A's and B's

Scott was an amazing professor. He is so educated, knows what he is talking about. He has a great sense of humor and knows how to relate the students to college material. Very helpful. Only a few tests. He does attendance by the 'clicker method' which also helps getting the students interested and interacting with teh material.I would recommend him

It was a class with 400 students, but you would never be able to tell. He really cares about the students and makes lectures easy to listen to. He gives you a study guide with exactly whats on the test. Do the readings and follow the questions at the beginning of each chapter. The book you use was written by the professor.

This is a great class. He really knows what he is talking about and he is a very easy going guy. There is a lot of material covered, but if you just keep up on the reading and study for the exams, you will get an A. Oh yeah you get extra credit everyday for going to class...it's the****

I honestly dreaded everyday I went to his class. Let's just put it this way, if your GA is a better teacher than you are you know somethings wrong with your teaching style. The tests were **** straight out the book....oh and defaintley buy the book I didnt and it was Bad News Bears!!

This class was so boring. The tests were extremely hard, even with a good amount of studying. I wouldn't take it unless you have to. Take COMS 103 instead... much easier.

Kind of a ****, but a pretty nice guy when you are talking with him one on one. Take the class its pretty easy but be prepared for rambling at times, he gets the point across in the end.

I took the class to fulfill one of my Tier II requirements. It was in Morton 201 with 400 people so naturally it was hot with all the bodies making it hard to stay awake and pay attention. I stopped going after awhile. The tests weren't too bad because he put study guides online; still kinda hard. The final paper is graded pretty tough though.

this is the first quarter ever that****worth has begun using the SRS system, which is an interactive "clicker" system that lets you know how well you know the material, lets him know how well he's teaching the material, and is just fun to see how the class answered the question. seems to keep the class interested and awake!!

Pretty good class. Material is simple and tests aren't too hard, too easy. Gives random extra credit. Scott is a funny guy that makes COMS fun. TA's grade hard on final project, though.

This was by far the most boring class I ever took. I never paid attention but I always did well on the tests. If you need an easy class I would recommend taking it but you better bring your pillow.
