Ms. Grant is one of the kindest, most inspiring profs I have met at ASU. Her love for helping students is simply mind-boggling when one considers how many students she has. Your success is her goal, and my only regret is not being able to take more classes with her. She is truly a wonderful person and teacher. Learn whatever you can from her!

She is the most inspirational woman. I went in blind to this class and she was best professor I had for the semester. If I had a chance I would take another class from her. She's available when you need help which is a rare trait in a professor.

Worst professor and person in general I've ever met at ASU. Grades solely based on how much she likes you not actual merit. Usually has TAs run everything while she just sits in the back. Very two-faced and will lie even when confronted with something she put in writing. Beware if you get stuck in one of her classes.

Ms. Grant is extremely helpful throughout your Global Studies degree. Get to know her and she can be your most helpful resource.

Great class with a great professor! The class time is usually used by the TAs with Ms. Grant watching in the background, so she's there as a resource rather than a teacher. When they aren't teaching, there usually guest speakers, and other than that it's group work and professional development. Great class! You'll leave with a fantastic resume!

Ms. Grant doesn't really teach the class...it's more her 5 TA's. However, she is helpful and they are helpful and it's an easy class where you will TRULY become prepared for the real world, and end up with a great resume. There are also panel discussions and stuff to keep it interesting (though it can get very boring)

Easy class but she did not even teach the class. She just had four TA's do all the work and overall I could have not taken this class and been perfectly well off.

Very easy class! Attendance is mandatory. The class is designed around your interests, whether you want to teach ESL abroad, you're interested in business, law, etc. Ms. Grant also provides a lot of good resume and cover letter tips. The only distracting thing about the class as the poster below me mentioned was all the TA's.

She is very sweet. Just do the work nd it will be easy. She does have a bunch of T.A.'s but they are there to guide, inspire, realte, and show you how they successfully passed the course. Course should be required4all majors. She is there to help you get your internship, and get a job in the future. If you listen&ask questions u will be successful

Doesn't really care about the class, she had 5 TAs for this class and just sat there while they BSd their way through the class. Only took the class because it's required for my major...wouldn't recommend it otherwise. Super easy though

Awesome professor really helpful and class actually sets you up with hands on interactions and activities versus the prof just reading a powerpoint. Also include many outside guests that work in many different fields during class time.

Gisela Grant is an excellent professor. Her main job in Global Studies is to coordinate international internships--and she does it well. I took her one-hour internship preparation seminar. She basically taught us resume-writing skills and showed us the best way to go about arranging our internship. Would hardly recommend. Very nice, very fair.
