ENGL 201 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Worst prof I have had so far. Is not helpful , lectures are boring as she reads off of power points, and she refused to discuss why I received the mark I did. Awful at giving feedback. The only good thing was that before tests she gave you an outline that listed all the topics/questions that would be on it. I would stay far away.

Dr. Zolf was a good prof. She's straight to the point and clear on her expectations. Her class was definitely out of the box, we read interesting texts and participated in a class blog. Honestly her class was intriguing and easy as long as you kept up with the readings and weekly blog contributions you'd be fine. No tests in her class either!

ENGL201 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Unhelpful when you would ask for help and would always point you to writing services, never made appointments out of office hours, flaky marker, very boring lectures.

ENGL 201 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Dry class. But very easy marker. She basically tells you everything that will be on the exam. Class before the final she gave a powerpoint with what to study. Good teacher. I did awful in high school english but I'm sitting at a B+ in her class. If you ask she will put the powerpoints up

ENGL 201 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: WD

This is probably the most dry and boring class offered in the English department. Zolf is an extremely hard marker and isn't very happy with discussion of the grades you received. It was difficult to even receive a B in this class.

Very challenging. Extremely helpful! Truly wants to see you succeed and will work with your specific talents. Sometimes imposes her own idea of poetry on you so stay true to yourself while developing your writing. Highly recommend her though if you have tough skin and a true desire to write!

ENGL364 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Rachel Zolf was hands down the best professor I've had at UofC to date. She was always super willing to meet one on one and incredibly supportive throughout the semester. Her teaching made this class the best I've taken in my university career thus far.

ENG239 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

She is really nice and the class definitely had a lot of potential. She is smart and creative, but hard to follow for the most part. If you're looking for a relatively easy pass, I would recommend it. But if you frustrate easily, then do not take this course!

She is kind, understanding and nice and I mean it. She truly understands the students. If you talk to her more, she is friendly and I am sure that you won't regret taking this course. When you ask for help, she is always willing to help you out, almost too willing... which is good. She is awesome !

If you pay attention in class, there shouldn't be any stuff that's unclear. She's always clear with the must-do stuff. The classes can become uninteresting and boring because she likes to talk too much. She marks the essays super easy; easygoing with almost everything. Friendly, nice and helpful but often likes to pick on people during discussions.

ENGL239 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

She can be nice, however her class is unorganized. I didn't really understand what was going on for most of the course because it was all very vague. The classes were not very lively because all she would do was talk.

She is a pretty easy prof, but her classes are kind of disorganized and very cloudy. I find that most of the time, I have no idea what is going on.
