Easy GUR. The final is open book with a page of notes. Quizzes online that are "open book". The class is sorta boring but he can have his funny moments. He has a curved grading system. He doesn't give you much notice ahead of time to know that there is a quiz so keep looking.

insanely easy GUR, almost never went to lecture. labs are a joke, a few online quizzes straight from the book, and a final that you can bring the book to.

You dont have to go at all. You can learn alot if you goto lectures and read the book, but he by no means forces you to learn anything. It will be an easy A if you goto all your labs and just check the site frequently for online quizzes posted. The quizzes are straight from the book so dont worry about doing poorly on those. Recommend for EASY GUR!

Didnt know the programming language he was taching and never actually taught anything. Would ramble on about how something generally worked and then put up a slide example of what he was talking about for about 5 seconds before moving on. I've heard that his classes are easy but mine was still graded by a TA so it sucked.

Aaby is an easy A, but he doesn't teach the material. He has take home tests, which he advises you to Google the answers. This class is a really important class to build from and I would have liked to have learned the material better.

This was the worst professor I have ever had before. Somehow he got a temporary job here and managed to stay... His lectures are useless, unless you already know the material. His clarification of assignments, work, and tests is akin to an abstract painting of a face...

Abay was one of the nicest professors I have had in recent memory. He was also EXTREMELY easy on grading (I don't even think he really did). The only downfall is I'm not sure if I even learned anything in the class, because his lectures were soo unorganized and he just talked about what came up.

Doesn't really grade assignments and just checks to see if they were turned in on time. Very flexible. Sometimes helpful in office hours. Overall enjoyed the class.
