Greg is a great professor, just misunderstood. His three exams are 100% based off the book and connect assignments. His lectures touch on only a fraction of the test material, he talks more about the industry than what you need to know for the tests. If you are a marketing student definitely take him. He has loads of interesting information.

Really wish I had not taken him..If you learn by taking notes, DO NOT take him. Didn't learn anything. Said we asked too many questions. Had 6 group members, too many for projects&only one was allowed to talk to him. HORRIBLE. Only showed examples in class time. Worst prof I've had at UofA.

Greg is an below average teacher. He makes the course very opinionated, and is full of himself. The simulations are a joke. Make sure you have him look over the project and find out exactly what he wants otherwise he will drill your group. Overall I wish I had taken the same course with a different teacher.

Greg is a teacher who likes things done "his way". So for the projects go to him. The tests where changed to be more difficult according to him as well. Backpack simulation was so dumb. If you do, just make sure you don't spend anything on advertising. Seriously. He can wear his 100$ jeans somewhere else...didn't like him too much.

Greg is honestly the coolest professor I've ever had. The negative on here are clearly form people who didn't put any effort into his class at all. If you attend class, try your best on the projects, and do the optional homework, I guarantee you will get an A. His lectures are really interesting, and he is ALWAYS available for help if you need it.

I loved the group projects but only because I had a good group. Greg is an awesome person but sometimes when he explains clarity isn't great but he's always willing to work with you and try to make it easier to understand.

boring boring class. has the potential to be fun, but you are stuck with the same group all semester studying the marketing techniques of 1 product only. VERY BORING. his slides don't help with test exams, read the book & show up to class for sure. I don't advise this teacher

Gave me a horrible grade on participation, yet never called on me when I had my hand raised because he gets locked into one part of the class when he teaches. Tells you that he will not be teaching directly from the book, yet his Power Points mirror the book. Wont get back to you for at least two-three weeks on a emails also.

Took him for marketing principles. You do not need the book! He posts the power points online and that's all you really need. The group projects are a little tough, but he is very reasonable on grading. Also, do the study guides and go to the test reviews and you will surely get an A on the tests.

He lectures barely relate to the test, which are now at the CBT center. Attendance is mandatory, everyday and docks you if you do not attend. Need the book if you want an A. He came off to me as snobby, knew the material though.

We all have a right to opinions, but I say anybody who dislikes THIS guy has issues. It's impossible to dislike him. He always cared about what was best for ME, and he is a major reason to come to school.

Class is a joke, if you can avoid going, do it and have someone else sign you in. 90% of what is talked about in class is not on the exam because he talks about companies and current events the whole time. Just read the book and you will do fine. He also brings in pizza and pastries for everyone on review days!

I took him for marketing during spring semester and regret taking him. He talks about random junk that is completely irrelevant to the class. Test everything on the book so just study the book is only way you can do well in this class. I wouldn't recommend taking him for marketing.

Great teacher. Very structured class. 3 group presentations, 4 tests, optional connect homework for extra credit. Attendance required and weighted. Buys pizza for class at the end of semester (sweet!). Material is easy and moderate effort produces and A.

Great Guy! Great Class! One of the MUST take business classes at UA. He is funny and his lectures are interesting because he actually uses real brands to explain concepts.

3group projects,4exams& attendance.there was extra credit for doing mcgraw connect but you have to all hws and score highly to get points. 1 st exam is 80% off of review but does it harder after that. not an easy grader but fair.

He's an awesome guy, brought us pizza and snacks played review games for extra credit on exams. But most of your grade is weight on 3group projects 4 exams. Is kind of a hard grader on group projects and is know to tell you your power point was lacking in front of class.

Incredible teacher. Great guy. The guy is an amazing teacher and funny. Makes class more than enjoyable. The guy bought the class 16 pizzas for a class party I think that says enough.
