BIOE 250 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: B

You basically have to hope for a good group of people who can speak and understand English. You can talk to Kotche all you want, but even though she says she'll take into account the fact that you did 90% of the work on every assignment, you'll still get the same grade as the rest of your group who did nothing.

BIOE 250 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

This is not a class that actually depends on teaching-skills. Is basically administration, and goal setting. She tried to be as clear as possible with each proposal, but sometimes made complete 360° changes. Cross your fingers to get a good group, and facilitator.

Prof. Kotche is a pleasure to have, you have to do your work (project proposals), but its not terribly difficult to get an A.

BIOE240 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Is funny how I understood the material after class, rather than getting it from the professor. Dr. Kotche really tries, but she really needs to work to improve her teaching. Exams were really easy, but homework was 55% of the grade, so make sure you do it. Expect to use Matlab. and some Excel.

I guess she changed the class format because there's no more quizzes. Instead she replaced with an arduino board which sucks if you don't know how to program like myself. She kept the proposals which are okay and added another program. Doesn't feel like an entry level course.

You try not to fall asleep with her lectures, but you won't accomplish that without caffeine. If you pay attention you'll think you got it, until you have to do the 3 proposals. At that point you kinda don't know nothing. Make sure you work on your proposals way ahead of time (50% of the grade) and "memorize" her slides for the quizzes.

This class was overall ok. She just read the powerpoints she made like 20 minutes before class. Really boring but you have to take it. Three proposals and 5 quizzes in the class. Make sure to study for the quizzes if you want to get an A.
