Must be prepared to work over professor notes, she likes to go very quickly and often gets confused. She is flexible on late hw or assignments but only if you are on her good side. She is like a crazy fun grandma that makes you sing and laugh. I do not do well unless I am challenged so I felt discouraged when she didn't really care about timeliness

Class is very manageable. Need to attend every session and work the practice problems but if you do you will do well. She allows you to work extra problems to make up points missed on exams. It really helped my grade. She is one of the nicest professors I've ever had and really works with you to make sure you understand the information.

Barbara is funny and a fun professor to have. She gets a little disorganized every once in a while, but overall i really enjoyed her class. She gave ample opportunity to make up extra credit or turn in late assignments if something came up. Not terrible strict on attendance but her class was fun so why miss it.

A very nice teacher. If you need instruction and understanding I wouldn't recommend. She is easy going and too flexible on HW assignments.

Very pro-student. She lectures using her notes with a few book examples. Posts all notes online and gives out exam reviews. Does everything in her power to get you to pass. Allows you to make up 1/2 pts for problems you missed on exams.Gave out extra hw for students who needed the points. Love her!

Barbara is a great professor. As long a you show up, do the work and study, you will do well (not just pass) and learn a lot. She gives extra credit and re-tests to allow you to do better on a test. Love her! She is silly and funny too.

She is a very nice lady who really loves the subject she teaches. If you pay attention the material is fairly easy. She mostly relies on her class notes although a few book examples will be provided. For almost every test she gives an opportunity to gain points back if you didn't do too well. She is very friendly and personable.
