Math131 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

By far the best math professor I've had at Loyola. I took calc 1 in high school and it was 10x harder than this class. He explains things very well and the quizzes and exams were a breeze. Take him!

Pretty cool guy who is willing to help. Calc isn't easy so go to class and pay attention. There is a quiz every week but they arent too bad. Probably the best Math teacher I had in college

Dr. Greicius is absolutely brilliant. The class is not easy, but he encourages students to come to office hours. The weekly quizzes help you to stay on track with the material. His exams aren't too hard, but studying is required. When in his class, it truly felt as though I was in the presence of a genius! I highly recommend Aaron Greicius!

Really good professor, not all that hard. The class can be a lot of work at times, but then it is calc. He posts his powerpoints online, which are helpful for exams. Attendance isn't technically mandatory, but he gets upset when people miss class (a problem on the first exam was about something he mentioned in class and wasn't in any of the PPTs)

Math 132 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

His lectures are clear and organized, but quizzes and exams can be difficult. He doesn't allow calculators on exams yet throws in confusing fractions. He doesn't offer much help if you ask a question about the homework.

Dr. Greicius is a pretty decent professor overall. If you've taken calculus in high school or at a previous school, you should be fine. If you haven't, it's quite difficult and will take a lot of work to do well. Take the quizzes seriously as a good average will compensate for one poor test grade (all quizzes are weighed the same as one test).

MATH162 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

He is not a horrible teacher. He really wants you to understand the material and is very helpful. Sometimes his explanations are long and confusing, but it's calculus...

MATH 132 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Lecture is just the easiest of concepts of the homework. Misses a lot of the concepts we need to actually complete the homework. Gets annoyed if you ask a question. Snaps back if you don't know the answer to a question. Lectures are dry. Uses powerpoints. I used the book more than his lectures because he's not good at teaching. Pretty bad teacher.

He is a very smart man and obviously has a passion for the subject. This class is not at all easy and it really requires time with the homework and studying. He is a generous grader on weekly quizzes (every Wednesday) and on exams. he did have an attitude at times and would not be willing to explain a concept because it would not be on the quiz.

11 weekly quizzes (takes best 9), 2 exams, and a final. He makes them tough, but he hands out partial credit VERY generously. Not an easy A, but he's a good guy. He's always willing to do classwork when he notices a popular confusion with the material. I would recommend.
