Don't study CJ if you are not prepared to learn this "sociology", which is more aptly "criminology." The academy will prepare you for the street, CJ blends institutional issues with criminology, which is based off sociology. That's how most every program is. Most CJ professors are not former cops, they are scientists who study the objective.

Terrible teacher! Teaches sociology instead of criminal justice. Super disorganized, didn't even get the date of the final right. You learn nothing in the class. He had no field experience and in class he just rambles on and on about nothing. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

This teacher is ridiculous. I learned absolutely nothing and gained 0 knowledge from this class. There were no tests or quizzes to support what we were learning, we taught ourselves the course from the book and everyday we learned a different topic without finishing the one before that. ACTUAL CRJU students should NOT take this class.

Taj is probably the chilliest professor that I have ever had, but him being chill doesn't help with grades. There is no guidance what so ever. He is not a good teacher. I would not advise taking this course with him.

CRJ385 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Taj was awesome. The class isnt bad at all. The research project spans the entire semester and is most of the grade. He corrects it as you go, so make those corrections and you will be fine. Like others said, no attendance policy, but his classes are worth going to because he is that entertaining.

Taj was great!! He seems hard the first day but then is very laid back! Keep up with the work and you will do fine. The research paper is really a big portion of the grade so make sure to make the corrections he asks because he does notice them in the final paper. No attendance but he is very entertaining! Take his class!

CRJU385 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

He is a good guy. He needs to work on his clarity when going over what he expects in assignments. He is very laid back with due dates. We had no final exam but with this class you do have a huge research project that take all the semester to do. Make sure to keep up with your work, the assignments take about 3 to 5 hours to do. Good Luck!
