psyc3100 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Taking both 3100 and 3501 with Tehran, easily two of the hardest psych courses I've had at uconn. Quizzes are a tough, though he treated them as extra credit which was nice. Overall, he seems like a nice guy and like he knows his stuff. Lecture notes are sometimes hard to follow and he rambles a bit, but some of the things he covers are interesting

Psych 3501 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

I decided to take this class as one of my psych minors, bad idea. This S&P class turned into a complete philosophy class. His power points are all over the place and very vague. Gives pop quizzes that are particularly hard. I literally have no idea what's going on most of the time.

PSYC 3501 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

This class was absolutely miserable. It was like a philosophy/history class and later on launches into physics. His quizzes were absurd and completely unpredictable and you have to pay extreme attention in order to do well. The whole class over all was unpredictable and he's an awful lecturer - lecture slides were all over the place

PSYC1100 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A

I found the subject matter of the class very interesting, however, he is very monotone. I did not take much from the lectures because the slides were posted online. Before each exam, he provided review Q&A sessions outside of class which were very helpful.

Psyc 1100 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Tehran is fairly monotone, but I would recommend taking his course. My biggest complaint is that his slides were often confusing and dense, but overall his course was not too difficult. Exams were straightforward, and the final was not mandatory. The book corresponds well to what he teaches. Study and you will do well.

I never went to his lectures because he posted all of his slides on HuskyCT. But when I went his lectures were pretty interesting and he made it enjoyable. He gives 3 exams but only counts 2 so if you do well on the first two, you do not have to take the final which is very nice! His exams are pretty easy, just read the book and slides!

PSYC1100 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

He's pretty monotone. He uses annoying phrases like "by virtue of" and "with respect to" far too often. Occasionally he forgets that he's speaking to a lecture hall of intro to psych students, and uses terms that no one fully understands. Other than that, he makes easy exams, curves fairly, assigns easy homework and minimal reading. Recommend him.

PSYCH1001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

He seems like a nice guy, and knows his material, but its really difficult to take notes in his class, as he is often late and scatter-brained. You can tell he's one of the newer professors. I'm sure there are better and more interesting professors you can take a basic psych course with
