His voice is monotonic, and his speed is too slow. You will fall asleep in his class. The course itself isn't hard, but he tries his best to make it difficult.

Professor LaBean is a brilliant man, but can't teach very well. His only way of teaching is through PowerPoint. He knows his stuff, but doesn't really do an effective job of getting the big picture across to the students. Take another professor, you'll learn more, and have a better grip of the material. His class is generally easier though.

Class wasn't bad. He's a cool guy but a little boring at times. Study the powerpoints. 15% of your grade is from the open note, partner pop quizzes. I made a B without doing a single homework problem. Also, we had an awesome day of making ice cream and freezing stuff with liquid nitrogen.
