History 32

Professor Berg made history 322 a really enjoyable class. As a biochemistry major, I took this class to fulfill a few of my LSA requirements and was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the class. There is a lot of reading to cover, but if you attend section and give your best effort when writing papers (there are only 4), you'll be just fine.
HIST 322
She really enjoys teaching, totally engaging and never boring. She struggles with technology, but it's kinda funny. She's got a rockin' body and she's not afraid to show it. Very confident and approachable. Very happy I took a class with her. She approached very depressing material on Nazism in a very tasteful and engaging way. Take 322!
GER 322
This is a very interesting class and Professor Berg is an engaging (if hard to follow) lecturer. However, the workload for this class is unreasonable. It's not uncommon to have 70+ pages of reading, a quiz and a paper due all on the same day. Heavy reading is assigned immediately prior to this as well, so no time to get it done early.

Amazing professor. Her lectures are so entertaining and informative. There is a lot of reading, but the material is really interesting. Highly recommend this class
HIST322
My favorite professor. She is incredibly passionate about history and enthusiastic about helping her students. The Honors section with her was the best--she brought in food (great cook!), scheduled movie nights and even invited us all to her house for dinner. Take that section if you can! Not too much extra work. She was beyond awesome.
HIST322
Professor Berg was a phenomenal lecturer, especially considering it was her first semester. Her lectures always had variety and were interesting most of the time. Grading is fair but heavily dependent upon your GSI. In class quizzes mandate attendance, there are online blogposts, and there is a final and a midterm (each a take home essay).
HIST322
Professor Berg is one of the the friendliest, most approachable professors I have ever met at this University. She really is interested in teaching her students and is always looking for ways to improve. Sometimes she goes a bit fast in lecture but gives summary slides for clarity. She is also available to talk to if you don't understand something.
Hist322
Prof Berg is an awesome teacher. She's very interested and knowledgeable about her subject matter, which makes the class really interesting. Although she talks fast in lecture, she posts her slides online afterwards which have timeline slides on them for clarity. There's a lot of reading, but if you only read the primary sources you'll do fine.
HIST322
She thinks she is an awesome lecturer, but in actuality her lectures lack clarity, her slides are unorganized, and she speaks too quickly. Classroom policies including laptop usage are authoritarian, and reminiscent of highschool. She uses quizzes to ensure attendance, which results in the entire class studying for the quiz in lecture
