"Tests? Not many" "Tests are tough" "Tough Grader"

grade was based off of two tests and one paper only. tests were absolutely ridiculous, just took my final on 13 powerpoints each with 40+ slides.

"Tests are tough" "Skip class? You won't pass." "Lectures are long"

He is a nice guy, young. His lectures tend to be long and dragged out. It can be boring for someone not interested in the topic. You can tell he is very interested in his subject so he assumes the class understands the termonology. Way to much information to memorize as well for tests.

He is a very knowledgeable professor; this class is extremely interesting and I really enjoyed it. The concepts are a little difficult for a 102 class. I would not buy the book as tests are based only on his lectures. If your planning on taking this as an easy A to pass a general, I would NOT recommend taking this course.

ANT102 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO TAKE. He did not help me learn anything all semester. I diligently worked in this class and could not come up with a B. His lectures are hard to follow and he thinks you have a PhD in ANT. Don't buy the textbook. He will tell you to. Don't. A waste of $80. Find another general to take in this tier because it's not worth it.

Horrible teaching skills. I like anthropology until I took this class. He doesn't teach you anything. I major in BIO and my level 400 classes are easier than this level 100 class. Won't answer questions and don't get the book he says to get. Way too much material to memorize for an elective. Don't take him.

He talks like everyone already knows the subject. He doesn't really teach the subject he moreso talks at the student. He feels as if the class is easy and impossible to fail (he said so himself) but I have come to find that to be a lie its very hard.
