Awesome teacher. She was really enthusiastic about biology and did want her students to learn. As long as you paid attention in her classes and did most of the homework, you should do well in her class. Also, pay close attention to her tips for tests, they do help! Her tests can be a bit difficult if you didn't read at least some of the textbook.

She really wants everyone to learn and really loves the subject. You should read the book and attend every lecture otherwise you'll fall behind and lose points.

Her tests were very reasonable this semester. She is very kind and wants everyone to learn. I just did not like the material we covered. If you are a decent student, there is no reason you shouldn't do well with her.

This was her first semester teaching at UTK.Her tests were very difficult. Go to class, she gives clicker points. She told out lab TA to grade hard, with the promise of curving lab ( She didn't curve it).I worked really hard in this class and ended up with an A-. She does VERY LITTLE curving. She doesn't see it's a 100 level class.Take someone else!

She is really enthusiastic about teaching and cares about her students but that doesn't make her tests any less impossible. This is a 100 level course and over half of my lecture class is failing and she says that's "not bad." Her tests don't correspond with her lectures and are crazy. DO NOT TAKE HER if you don't have to. It's unnecessarily hard.

She is really into teaching except she wont let you take notes on your computer and she goes through the information so quickly that you can't get what she is explaining down in time. She's very friendly and into teaching but I think that she doesn't realize this is a 100 level course and speaks above you. I am in organic chemistry and its easier.
