ECON 20A Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Nice professor, but difficult to understand. Sometimes unclear in lecture and the accent he speaks with doesn't help. Memorize the sample exams/study guides because those questions will show up on exams. I personally stopped attending lecture because it didn't help. Read the book, study the study guides, you'll be fine. A very nice guy though.

This class was a joke. Professor Fazeli was a very nice professor but he's not very great at teaching. His accent is hard to understand, but you get used to it. Plus, he provides a study guide for midterm/final which practically gives away all the answers. Basically, an easy A class.

This is literally the EASIEST class you could take at UCI, regardless of your major. 2 midterms and final, study guides identically match the actual exams. It may be an easy A, but you'll regret not having gained anything if you're going to take econ 20b next quarter. Best advice: if you plan on taking 20b next qtr, take this class seriously!

I only attended class like the first two classes, midterms (two) and like 3 additional classes because of a potential pop quiz. There's no point in going, and his exams are straight from the study guide. Easy A if you ask me

Came 15 minutes late to each lecture. Started lecturing half an hour into the class. Exams were beautiful. Easily my favorite professor.

Two Midterms. Final is Optional although he may make this mandatory in the future. Gave out one pop quiz because he was trying to have students attend his class. Gives out "Study Guides" which are the exact same questions to the tests. He is a little hard to understand and is definitely boring. Didn't do anything in this class and got an A.

If you do your assigned homework every week, Ure pretty much all set because you have to read the book first before doing it. Basically if u read the book, ull learn by urself. dont have to go to class. The concepts are not hard to understand. This class is mickey mouse.

Oh gosh, he was a terrible lecturer. But his class was freaking easy. I studied the book on my own and studied his "study guide"(which is the exact same as his midterm...) and I got a good grade.

This class isn't very hard. There are weekly homework assignments which are part of the midterm grade and usually boost your midterm grade. There are two midterms and one final. He made the final optional for my class :) I recommend him!

This class was definitely a joke. Fazeli is a nice guy, but you won't learn anything substantial from him. He was constantly late to lectures, and he reads directly off his slides. Read his "study guides" before each midterm, and you're guaranteed an A. Fun fact: he tried writing on the chalkboard with a dry erase marker TWICE in class.

If you do not want to read the book then go to his lectures, discussion was helpful in understanding concepts but by no means necesssary. Easiest class you will take and he is not all that clear but he does make an effort and he does love what he teaches. He is helpful but you will probably not need it.

HAHA. This class was a joke. Can't understand his speaking. He wrote on the chalkboard with a sharpie once. Basically, do well on Aplia because it's part of your midterm grade. Then, study the "study guides" he sends out b/c they're IDENTICAL to the midterm. Final exam is optional, so I really stress doing well on the midterms, because it pays off.

He uses the powerpoints that Pearson (the textbook publisher) provides for him. His tests are multiple choice and again he uses test questions that Pearson provides for him. Before each midterm he gave us a study guide containing around 150 questions and all questions on the exams were pulled from the guide. He also made the final optional.

Joke of a class. No one went to lecture because it was pointless. Midterms and final have a study guide where the whole test is pulled off of it so they are EASY! Got an A and went to the first lecture. GPA booster
