He is a great teacher! He does tend to go off topic alot. Sometimes it isn't very clear what he expects of you when there is an assignment but he has no problem explaining it to you if he missed something. If you do all the assignments and show that your interested in the class, he is a very flexible instructor and will pass you.

Nice guy. Probably shouldn't be a teacher, but his class is fairly simple if you're willing to put forth a small effort. I'm taking him again next semester, so I would suggest him to others.

Great class for those who are serious about learning to write. I sucked at writing prior to his class and now am top in my Eng 112 class. Recommended, but be ready for a challenge. Good person, integrity.

Requires you to do several large papers throughout the semester, but also gives you one or two assignments from the textbook every class. It is hard to do a paper and keep up with assignments.

He was the worst English teacher I ever had. He teaches as if you were in at an University. This is a community college man! ease up on your students

Not an easy teacher. The assignment was very interesting to me. Too bad he did not assist when you needed his help. My paper would have been much better. I did not have time to go to get help. I would have liked to get it from him. TOUGH VERY TOUGH. Yes, a bit boring. My English didn't get better, i just did my work. Learning? Purely on my own.

Made me do a filed study in English 110. very hard the whole paper was about 20 pages long give or take a few.

I've never had such a rough time with a teacher before! He could never answer my questions, his directions made no sense, and his lectures were horrible. He didn't like my topic for my first paper, because he didn't understand it. From then on he made my life rather difficult, and in the end, withdrew me with no warning. Don't take him!

One of the best teachers of the subject. surely you will work hard for your grade but you will feel acomplished at the end of the semester. i advise every english and related majors to take his class, also if you are in school to learn you might want to take his class. STAY AWAY IF YOU'RE IN SCHOOL FOR FUN!

It was suppose to be a very interesting class however he is just a bore. He is very monotone and when he gives an assignment he doesn't quite explain it correctly.

Very intelligent professor. People think he's hard because he actually CHALLENGES you...what a concept. The people who dislike him are the ones expecting to breeze through school and not study.

A wind bag he is, and an awful bore. I just wish he'd be quiet so we can get some sleep.

I can't believe that anyone could consider this man a good teacher. He gets so caught up in trying to be so high-minded it is laughable. Class content is often nonexistent. he may know what he isw talking about but the guy is just not convincing because of his manner and mannerisms. I thought he was very irritating.
