"Tests are tough"

she jokes a lot, but is a tough grader, so do not get confused and think that just because she goofs around that she will not grade you hard. For a 101 class, its out of 1000 points- wayyy too much. A lot of writing!! You have to do four journals, 4 typed pages each. 2oral presentations and 2 oral debates. A midterm and a final!.. too much.

"Amazing lectures" "Would take again"

TAKE HER! IF you ever get the opportunity to take her class take it. She is hilarious and is good at connecting ideas to our lives. Takes attendance but her class is fun enough to enjoy. Not too harsh of a grader and is very helpful and lenient with what you need. She is an amazing woman and anyone would be lucky to taker her!

Phil 204 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: A

This had to be the easiest class I have taken at Towson. There is a ton of writing, but as long as the page requirements are met you will get 100% on the assignment. The movies we watched were fun and the class discussions were interesting. Two group and two oral presentations were graded easily and I got A's with very little effort

Lots of work to do with this class but Skarzinski made it interesting per usual. I've taken another one of her classes and think she is a great professor. The films she showed were great and the class discussions were cool too.

JENSKAR is the best. This is not a philosophy class, more so read the textbook and all the controversial atricles inside and then have class debates, all papers are opinion based and you watch tons of documentaries hat you also must solely write about your opinion. GREAT TEACHER.

PHILO 101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: B

She is very... energetic to say the least. Her lectures are very helpful and the course load is by no means impossible. She was a funny lady who sometimes came to class grumpy. All in all she was an ok teacher.

JenSkar is energetic and fun. The class is a lecture with power points that have the important information *starred* Her class is easy, tho with a decent amount of work. 5 absences are allowed, doesn't care if you are sick or went to the movies. keep that in mind cause if you miss more then 5 she docs 5% of final grade. Regardless, I recommend!

She is great!!! Her lectures are great, she is very energetic and makes you want to learn more about philosophy. There are five BWRs which don't take much time and you have notes due at the beginning of each class. If you pay attention and do your work you will get an A.

Her lectures are hilarious! She encourages a lot of class discussions so that you can understand the text! Assigns a reasonable amount of work you just have to get it done. Makes philosophy fun to learn.

She is a GREAT teacher! There is a lot of work but it's super easy!! Gives good lectures and tons of class discussions. Allows 5 absences unexcused or not and is super chill. She is always keeping us on our toes and making the class fun. I would take her for everything if I could.

This professor is the absolute worst professor I have ever had hands down. She is terrible and if you miss 1 class she will drop your grade. She never explains anything and gives out SO many assignments. Every 3 chapter in the textbook you must read and write 10 pages on them. No other philosophy class has to do the amount of work she assigns.
