IS 101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: B

Honestly, if I could do it all over again, I would have waited a semester and taken this class with the fall semester professor (Scott Straus). His prezis are confusing and studying for the midterm and final was not the most productive process due to how disorganized his ideas/slides were. Overall, he's a decent guy, just not a great professor.

IS-168 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Mr. Limburg is a really great teacher. He takes these wonderfully complex and dynamic ideas and he breaks them down into digestible lesson plans. A lot of what he addresses is super abstract, so be prepared. Exams were easy, quizzes were tough. His lecture slides are kind of crazy genius confusing, but it's all part of the charm.

Honestly the worst. I'm studying for our midterm right now and would rather crawl in a hole than try to figure out what his useless powerpoints are trying to tell us. Actually not even powerpoints.. prezis.. like seriously dude? Nice guy though. This class has been no help. Heard the fall semester class is really good with a different professor.

IS 101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: B

Do not take this class if you intend to major in IS/PoliSci; it is useless and will actively hinder your progress in future, upper-level classes. Necessary materials are not covered (theories, organizations, etc.). Moreover, he is unorganized and unclear. He is a kind person, but is not one that should be teaching this class.

Really cool guy, kind of a bro. He is extremely relatable and has an awesome way of explaining things and looking at the world. His lecture slides are a little confusing at times, but if you have any questions he is really helpful! Definitely take the class with him, he keeps it really interesting.
