HFT 6477 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: C+

He is really nice but all over the place and disorganized. He changes the assignments, reviews, and even due dates without telling the whole class. I don't recommend his lectures for people who don't have any finance background.

He's a great guy with lots of experience he does need to be more organized in his class but his focus is based on recent events and things happening around us not boring useless theory. His topics do need too be more thorough with his topics just like he is with tests, it would make the class easier

Pernick is unorganized & as he stated he can't remember what he tells each class. He would take forever to respond to emails, if ever. He waited until the day of the final to tell us there was no take home final & then included that section on the actual in class final. I'm not sure if he really knew the material, lectures seemed rehearsed.

Do not take a class with this professor. He can't teach to save his life. He is not organized and never tells the class when he's changed the test of canceled an assignment. He loves to play dumb when you ask him a question. He will never give you a straight answer

He is terrible! Avoid at all costs! How he is still teaching at this school I will never know. He confuses himself, is never available to clarify anything, has the weirdest grading scale I've ever seen, forgets to tell the class what is needed of them. Doesn't follow the syllabus at all. Not to mention kinda rude. Doesn't test on what he teaches.

HFT3403 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

He can be really cool and funny in the beginning, but his lack of organization becomes frustrating. I took him over the summer and I feel as though he wasn't prepared to condense this class in 7 weeks and compares everything to his "teaching experience in China" (annoying). It became a struggle for everyone in the class. Good luck

Hard Class. He's a great person but sucks at teaching! He is always available. I don't know how FIU made him a financial analysis professor when his background is all over the place. DO NOT TAKE if you don't have any prior financial background.
