ENGL-1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

One of my more challenging courses. She has a lot of expectations and will grade quite harshly, but she has taught me a lot of valuable lessons about good writing. Take this course if you want to learn and improve. Be prepared for a lot of group presentations and write a lot of essays.

Eng-1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: C

She does a lot of group projects. Read the texts assigned. Grades harshly on grammer/spelling in essays. Difficult to do class work, writing assignments, outside class requirements and readings while trying to maintain a life/job/other classes. Fun teacher though. Very sweet and easy to talk with if you have questions. Mixed feelings.

Though 20 years have passed since that English 101 class, still today I sometimes use the freewriting method she taught to pen ideas and/or thoughts. You are a great instructor and a wonderful lady. Thanks Trudie.

Was very friendly and willing to help students. Presented information in a way easy to understand. If struggling with assignments, she is optimistic to help your understanding. Despite grading tough, she is fair in her grading and if the situation is reasonable, makes exceptions for students who make the effort.

SPCH-1311 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: B+

Professor was very vague as to the format and layout of assignments, and docked points without telling us what they were for. In addition, for our group project, two students in our group dropped the class, me and the remaining guy had to work twice as hard, and she gave us half credit due to the missing students, without a chance to make it up.

ENGL2327 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Heavy workload, but it's manageable. If you really want to learn about literature, this class is for you. If you have a grade to worry about, you might want to find an easier professor . She's helpful though, and you can make an A if you really put effort into it

I don't recommend this professor. She has very specific expectations but fails to communicate them, and grades more on mechanics than actual insights into literature. Avoid if you can.
