CHE 107 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Going to lecture is pointless, your better off just reading the textbook. Not to mention that his notes are already online, you can just read those and understand it better, making lecture useless. Very boring and horrible at teaching.

CHE 107 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Keister's lectures are basically supplemental to the textbook. Theoretically, you could probably skip all of his lectures and just read the textbook thoroughly, and you'll be fine. Keister isn't super-clear about the material, and he doesn't do very many practice problems. Go to recitation, understand the homework, and definitely read the textbook.

Che 101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Took him during summer, bombed first exam w/a F. Completed course w/ A-. Just do practice tests over&over he uses the same questions over&over. Go to TA for help READ TEXTBOOK. He's not that bad, just try and pay attention but doing practice tests will give you an A in the course.

CHE107 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Stopped going to lecture because I couldn't understand a word he said. I taught myself using the textbook. After I started teaching myself, my grades improved.

CHE 107 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Went to about 3 lectures at the beginning of the semester. I ended up with an A-. He pretty much reads off slides, you're better off just learning things online and doing the HW. Recitation can help, labs are tedious and pointless.

A very good professor. You just have to know what he is thinking to be able to get a good grade, and you will be able to do so just by attending class and doing your homework. If not, then good luck failing. He is always ready to answer questions. You will learn so much from him.

If you are good at chem, you will do fine in the class. But if you're like me, not a chem person at all, then you need to work really hard. He makes things complicated and is kind of boring, I honestly learn better watching MIT/khanacademy videos. Go to ur TA if they're good. If CHE107 is required for you, be prepared for all nighters.

Che101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

I took this over the summer. Ok class, failed the 1st exam but passed with A-, got an A on everything else. He's very nice and approachable but u will get confused and not know how to ask right questions. TAs are helpful if u get a good 1, go to office hours and Rec for extra help. Labs graded by accuracy not by correct calc. Overall, ok class

I loved this professor! He was super nice. Looking at past exams that he provided helped with studying. I was never bored during lecture. He's very clear and uses good analogies to explain hard topics. Def would recommend him! I was afraid of Chem before!!

Its so easy to just not go to class, pretty boring. But i've found that when you actually listen and pay attention he does teach the material well. All you need for the test is last year's copy which is available and you'll do good.
