Gensler is an amazing teacher! He kept class interesting and fun at all times. His lectures can be difficult to follow along with at times, but his use of humor and sarcasm keep you interested. Not recommended for anyone who is a hardcore procrastinator!

If you plan on taking Microeconomics then you should be aware that another professor would most likely be the better option. While I did enjoy his antics, they should not have been included through the course because it disrupted the learning experience and ability to absorb the material. He doesn't explain the material thoroughly to understand.

The overwhelming majority of the class time was spent teaching fringe conspiracy theories, and there is a tendency to bully challengers. Lots of profanity. The paper is a large component of the course. If you ignore the voice and turn in a paper that closely follows the format rules you will do well. The class was bizarre.

The worst professor I have ever encountered. Does not deserve to be called a professor because he does not TEACH, but rather expects you to teach yourself. Do NOT take him unless you think you can manage to teach yourself economics.

ECON 2 - Macro Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Gensler is a good teacher, I learned a lot about economics from him. No point in buying the book though, everything was based on lectures. The tests weren't too difficult but the paper took a lot of time - follow guideline (it's all fine detail). Expect some challenging aspects, this is a college course after all. It wasn't meant to be effortless.

He is amazing and take his class. I've already transferred out of Saddleback and am finishing my B.A. at UCSC. I still think about how much fun I had in his class. He's a G. I miss him and would take another class from him just for fun!!! It was the good. Do it!

ough professor but definitely prepares you for an upper level university course. He's not going to babysit you so you have to be 100% on top of course work. I dropped because I didn't have the time to put in the work/effort needed for the class along with my other 12 credits. Quizzes are easy. I did learn a lot in this class.

Class is more about Gensler and his political views than it is about political science. Be prepared to be bullied, belittled and abused verbally. His teaching technique is unconventional and his profanity does not stop. Lots of class time spent on watching and re-watching Conspiracy Theory movies and stories. He loves to debate but is always right.

Was looking forward to learning about MicroEcon because I loved Macro Econ. I have not learned ANYTHING. The 2 exams (worth 80% of your grade)are all math equations. He just wants to make money off his book that he makes u purchase, but there are SO many errors. Errors are in the equations, which isn't helpful when you're trying to learn them

AWESOME PROFESSOR. He made me understand how the world works. Humor and kind. Time flies so fast every week. ESAY OPEN-BOOK test. Be careful to check the answer. He said he won't remind us the deadline of the paper, let us get 0, but he reminded us every single class. Attendance has extra credit. SO EASY AND I LOVE THIS CLASS..
