This is an 8 credit hour course but she acts like it's worth more like 16 credit hours with all the work you get. Work is easy but a lot of it to do! You will spend hours on her class.

Assignments aren't hard but professor can't seem to get organized. Trying to figure out what is due when is hectic because she doesn't include all the assignments in the schedule or on the activities pages in modules. Halfway through the week she may add additional assignments with no notice to students. You can get an a if you can deal with the lack of organization

Ms. Montalvo is extremely helpful and nice. I took her online class this semester and she is always available online.

This class is a lot of work, but you should expected that when taking a language class. Professor Montalvo is extremely helpful and actually cares about her students. If you have to take spanis take her!

I am taking this class online and it is fairly difficult. The beginning was easy but as you get to the end you have to put in the extra effort if you want to do well. Warning: THIS CLASS IS A LOT OF WORK!! You have My Spanish Lab homework due twice a week, Exams every other week, 2 compositions, 2 Youtube Videos, and discussion posts.

(Currently taking SPN 1121.) The online class is harder for Spanish 2. You have to be motivated because you pretty much have to teach yourself the info. Personally, I like how MSL is organized. However, I do not like how the webcourses portion is organized. The good thing about Montalvo is if you ask her for help, she is easily accessible.

She goes pretty fast in her power point presentations but she is very helpful and nice. I highly recommend her.

Great Teacher. Taking her online and it is very organized, she is very helpful. I hope she teaches 1121online as well. Very Clear and flexable on grading. She is very nice, I couln't ask for a better professor. Take her if you have the chance.

The class isn't inherently easy, but the assistance you receive is very beneficial. You must take time to study on your own to get an A, but if you pay attention in class it should be a simple B. Don't pay attention, you will get a C or worse. Common sense, but for someone who took spn 2 6 years after spn 1, she made my world much easier.

Professor Montalvo is by the far the best spanish professor at UCF. She cares very much about her students and will go to great extents to see that you succeed. The class is challenging but if you do all the of the work assigned and attend class you will do great.

Nice teacher, very helpful, easy to understand and fair. She really wants you to enjoy learning the language. She is persistent though, when you calls on you, she expects you to answer, she will help you if you don't know but she doesn't just call on someone else (which is a good thing, cause it makes you prepare and study for class)!

She was so understanding and helpful!!!!! She really helped you learn the language, yes it was a lot of repeating exercises but it's what you needed.

I have mixed feelings about her as a teacher. Sometimes I really enjoy her and other times I feel like she gets annoyed when we ask questions. She always says "this is so easy it's just review" but yet the same few people are the only ones who participate in class. If you feel comfortable with this level of the language - it will be a breeze.

she is an ok professor. class is often times really boring because it takes an hr and a half to get through everyone to answer questions but otherwise the homework is really easy and the tests are reasonable as long as you look over the info before hand. there are 6 online discussion postings in webct as well as 9 chs of quia stuff to do. shes easy
