CIS 105 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Honestly the class was fine despite what others have said. The simnet test are replaced with another program. The professor has obviously improved the class and is continuing to do so. I've never taken a class like this before and I thought it was more tedious then it was difficult. Do the work and you'll be fine!:)

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! She is not helpful at all, I emailed her a question and she basically told me to google it. Lectures are painful to listen to and are not informative on what we are supposed to do. There is also a ridiculous amount of assignments due. Could have been a great class... but this terrible teacher ruined it.

CIS 300 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: A

Her lectures are old, and many of the techniques she uses are out-dated. She is very unresponsive to e-mail, or criticism. Her guidelines are not very clear and she is a very nit-picky grader. If you need the class, take it, otherwise, I would avoid her.

Re-uses old video lectures and files with errors. Tests have essay questions (FOR EXCEL?!?), so prepare for out of place subjective grading. Slow and not detailed when answering questions, luckily most of the issues can be solved by searching online (some by searching HW questions verbatim). This class is a necessary evil.

Poor professor, does not care about students learning. Her lessons are poorly planned and all over the place. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. Worst ASU experience, she is a joke of a professor.

She will not help you, and if you question her, she will do everything to prove you wrong. Great class, useless professor.

CIS394 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Easy credit for graduation but really frustrating. She's EXTRMELY unhelpful - there are ALWAYS errors in the spreadsheets she gives you, she can't answer simple questions. I had an issue with a VLookup and her response was "If I make the negative # a positive it works" Nothing to do with the function. You'll have to teach yourself VBA.

Took the online excel class and thought it was very helpful. Learned a ton of excel which is helpful for a business major. 2 assignments every week. Tests are really easy. A little effort and you get an A

Don't ever take it with her. Its called web design & development, ended up writing HTML and CSS and Java. I'm an intro student, not even CIS major. She NEVER answers questions/ emails. HORRIBLE professor. Course itself could be easy at times. Exams are 27 questions, quite tricky. If you can deal with a professor not answering email, then go for it.
