Dr. Pavloski is so intelligent, yet he manages to make difficult material understandable for his students. With no biology/anatomy background, I passed his course with over 100% average. Read the book, go to class, and you'll learn so much!!

Very intelligent professor, very enthusiastic about the subject. Extremely interesting class but exams are incredibly difficult. Definitely recommend reading the book and attending every class!

Loveee Dr.Pavloski! He is one of the smartest people I have ever met, and one of my favorite professors at IUP. The class was pretty hard and I did a lot of work for it. I learned so much from him so it was all worth it the work. Study the PowerPoints (they will all be put in the p-drive)and read the textbook. Take any class from Dr. Pavloski!!!!!

Oh heck yes. This guy's science core class was awesome. I had no clue about anything psychology going into it and my mind was blown on a daily basis. This guy is a genius and quite entertaining, and he doesn't overload you with work (no journals on Fridays). Highly recommended.

The best professor I've met so far! He can explain complex ideas very easily and makes it clear what's going to be on the exam. I got an A without long sleepless nights of studying and learned so much, which is helping me right now virtually in every class I have. He is a brilliant professor!

This man is extremely intelligent. It's mind blowing & great. He is very enthusiastic. He occasionally has a more dry sense of humor, other times not, but he is funny. He is willing to help. He likes participation. Lab is mandatory (get an A in lab if you honestly try & always attend). Most students need to study for his exams, others not so much.

Pavloski's Biopsych was a wonderful class! He is a very intelligent professor with tons and tons of enthusiasm!! He is funny and really cares about his students and the subject. Some may find it difficult but if you put minimal effort into the class you will not only pass the class but you will actually Learn Something Useful! TAKE PAVLOSKI!

CREATIVE AND INTELLECTUALLY CURIOUS students will LOVE Pavolski's biopsych and sensation/perception classes. Having worked with this guy and moved on to do research at a major university, I find him STELLAR in terms of intelligence, ability to communicate that gift, get you involved. No one better. Note: Mediocre students may struggle.

At first i loved this guys, he sent you all the notes and attendance wasnt required. However he has pop quizes and assignments that are completed in class and if you miss your screwed. He is a good teacher but I think he gets the questions from the book so it's hard to study the notes and most questions make no sense!

Yeah I thought he was an ok prof, except that his tests are pretty hard but he can be a real jerk and he definitely plays favorites if you show more interest than others b/c I WASN'T one of the favs & he doesn't even speak to me out of class, ignores emails, etc ended up with an A in one class and a B in the other but WOULD NOT take him again

a very intelligent guy who knows a lot about his subject. he likes to have fun while he teaches and he has stories to back up what he's teaching. it's nice to have a professor who has worked in the field he's teaching instead of just teaching about it. great prof to take

Took him in Europe, he's the most laidback guy in the world and loves having fun. Wasn't a fan of the topic of consciousness, but he tries to make it interesting. Encourages you to write freely in journals and papers.

Horrible for Gen Psyc. The absolute worst prof, he gets off subject and you can't follow anything he talks about. It's practically impossible to pay attention to the actual course since constantly has some un-related story to tell you.

For a general psychology class, the man seems to think the students are all psychologists who understand all concepts. Raymond Pavloski is too smart to communicate on such a basic and general level. I would recommend him if you have a doctorate.
