"Gives good feedback" "Better Like Group Projects" "Tough Grader"

Doesn't care about students or himself really. Would pick up your assignment, read it to the class and insult it, but would then grade it as 100. Gave group assignments just to make grading shorter on his part. Pretty much an @$$hole teacher, but I liked him and grades were fair )

Took him for income tax. He has his own firm and he will make connections to the material from it. The class should probably be open book because it has TONS of if/that/then scenarios because tax law is complicated. Read the assigned chapters and make sure he knows your name and participate as much as possible and you will do fine.

AC 302 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Definitely the toughest class I've ever taken, but you will be fine if you read the textbook. Lectures are interesting, but not enough to learn the material. It is a lot of information so make sure you understand the chapters inside and out before taking the exams. Exams have a lot of T/F questions that will trick you if you don't. DO THE HOMEWORK.

ACT 211 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

LOVE this guy! I don't think I've enjoyed any class to date as much as I enjoyed his class. He made it interesting and also made sure we understood what was going on. Allowed make up exams for extenuating circumstances which most don't allow. You will have to do the work, but an A is very achievable in his class

Shakun is the man!!!!!! He's a really friendly guy, lectures are interesting because he incorporates real life examples into his teaching, and workload isn't bad, though there'e alot of reading. Take this guy if you want to learn alot and have a good time doing it.

He's a really nice guy, but he's extremely lazy. He doesn't review much for exams (which are really hard) and he refuses to go over them. He even made us hand the exams back in after seeing our grade. Your textbook will be your only friend in this class.

Professor Shakun is a great professor. He really does try to make sure you understand what you're learning, and presents in with real life examples. Read the assigned chapters, do homework, and ask questions, and you'll do well. If not, you'll fail miserably. Exams are somewhat difficult, but again, study, and you'll be fine.

Shakun wants you to do well. Although there's a lot of homework, you really have to do all of it to do well. Ask questions and you should be fine!

He's a funny guy but takes awhile to get used to. He makes accounting easy and fun to understand and is always available if you need help. DO THE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS AND BE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO DO EXCEL otherwise you're out of luck. Study review problems and hw and you'll surely pass.

Shakun is a good guy, but his humor can take a little while to get used to. He may attempt to appear intimidating at the beginning of the semester, but he's mostly a laid back guy. Do the work he assigns, refer to book examples for guidelines, ask questions if you're confused. If you do your assignments, you will pass; more effort = better grade.

This class is extremely hard. It requires an insane amount of reading and the material is confusing. Shakun makes it as enjoyable as possible and is always there to help any student. He explains things well and knows what he's doing. Tests are hard. His humor makes class enjoyable.

Professor Shakun is absolutely awesome. Hands down the best teacher i have had at central. He's hilarious and going to class is always entertaining.Accounting is NOT an easy class, whoever you take it with you're going to have to put the time in. If you go to every class and make a noticing presence an show you care, you WILL do well in his class.

I'm not sure what everyone else is saying at all, his tests were difficult yes, but accounting isn't easy. Pay attention in class and do homework. Be proactive, make appointments, he'll be there when you need him trust me, he saved me on the final project EVEN ON THE PHONE. Pay attention don't skip class, show respect you'll get the grade you want.

Very funny guy! Makes class enjoyable. Picks on students he like...it's pretty hilarious. Talks about life stories, many of which are relevant to the class. He's the only class that I never skipped. Tests aren't too bad. Go to class, do the work and you will do well in the class.

He wasn't helpful at all. Before taking the class I heard that his exams were from hell, and they definitely were. I emailed him everytime I was absent to find out what I missed and always somehow forgot to tell me we would be having an exam. I definitely wouldn't recommend him unless you did very well in AC 211

I planned to just read the book and pay attention to his real life examples. Didn't need to buy hiom a soda nor talk about the giants. I got an A on this class. I recommend to practice the book wesite material like quizes, glosary and powerpoint, that helps.
