Just make sure you go to the lectures and pay attention. Also take advantage of the online homework and you will do just fine.

offers a lot of examples to make sure that you understand. Very easy to relate to and has a very professional atmosphere in his classroom. Grades fairly and uses lots of activities to help the class understand.

Difficult class. Make sure you paid attention during calculus/math because youre going to need it. Prof Davis is really cool but can sometimes lose students when skipping simple math steps. Always gives study guides with examples. Follow notes/homework when studying, not so much the book.

Great professor, easy to listen to and understand. He doesn't use power points though.

Fantastic. He doesn't use power points very often, but his lectures are very easy to follow and take notes on. Obviously, class is mandatory if you want to receive a good grade. He's also pretty funny in a nerdy kind of way. The home work you get is usually just discussion.

Wonderful professor. Clear lectures. Helpful when needed. Funny. I think that's all you can really ask for in a professor.

Fantastic professor! Examples are really clear and easy to understand -- this is my second class with him, and I wish I could take more! Tests follow his in-class examples and lectures exactly, so as long as you pay attention, exams are a breeze!

Good luck with this guy. If he cared any less about the class then I think you'd pretty much just have to go to the library and read the book. Slow at responding and hardly any of the material covered in class was even useful. Pretty lame class despite having high expectations. This guy just doesn't seem to care about his job or his students.

I loved this class. It was really interesting to learn more about Social Security and other public assistance programs. Wasn't always completely organized, but the exams were take-home and extremely easy. I didn't read any of the assigned material and got a 95% on the first two exams. Anyone who doesn't do well in this class just isn't trying.

Pal, with this much information, you need to have an outline, if not some kind of structure in your lectures. Also, if you're going to get into advanced economic theories, please don't offer this class under a sociology heading. I don't know what the hell you're talking about half the time.

Jason is a great professor - he's very funny, encourages questioning him, and makes the subject easy to understand. Personally I hated econ but I actually grew to like it after Micro w/ him.

Nice guy. Although, very hard. First test 18 students failed. You need to read all the chapters assigned, go to every class and study hard to get a decent grade. Good Luck!!!

Overall very interesting class. Didn't care too much for the subject going in, but ended up changing my major to Econ after taking Jason's class. He gets really excited over material that really isn't too exciting, but it keeps it interesting. I usually enjoyed going to class. Got let out early many times. Tests aren't too bad if you study.

Jason is an ok prof. Econ classes seem to be kind of dry to begin with, but Jason TRIES to make them more fun by using some pretty outlandish examples. He makes fun of himself quite a bit and is always willing to help you out if you need it. His writing is sloppy - so follow along carefully. If you skip classes - don't plan on a good grade.
