ECON 101
I thought she was a fantastic lecturer. The competitive nature of the class makes this class pretty stressful, but Sherrie does her best to help students succeed. Also, she loves using ginger ale and fine wine in her examples.
Econ 101
Sherrie was alright. Lectures are mandatory because of Iclickers and her slides are unhelpful. I thought the textbook was amazing and it's the only reason I got an A in this course (read the full thing twice). Not having to go to discussion was nice. The exams were pretty difficult, but it's curved. 25% get A range, 33% B range, 48% get Cs or below
ECON 101
Not a great lecturer, she is relatively boring. She also tends to focus on the easy concepts and skim over how to do the problems. Because of the grading system the class wasn't as hard as the other econ profs.
ECON-101
Sherrie is useless in the field of economics. How a top 10 university uses here to teach economics is beyond me. Her exams contain questions that aren't provided in lecture or discussion. Her lectures are deathly boring. Avoid at all cost.
ECON 101
Good Course. She relates every economic concept to real life and make things clear. The lecture slide is not very well made, the graph is sometimes unclear, but overall is okay. Her exam is not easy but if you do the practice problems and previous exam problem you will get good grades! Her class is interesting.

She was really helpful. I learned a ton. Exams weren't too bad, do the practice problems and you're set. Lecture pretty boring. I recommend going to office hours.

Not a very good lecturer at all. Iclicker quizzes are easy because everyone shares answers during class. Very easy grading system. Lectures are extremely boring.

Sherrie is an awful teacher. However, if you take this class with a group of friends it can be fun. It's insanely easy to get a A so if you're worried about your grade in Econ when applying to B school...you might want to think about taking her instead of Gerson/Malone. If your GSI is Ryan, you're golden.

She is the worst teacher I have had since coming to this supposedly prestigious university. Her lectures are repetitive at best and full of errors and ambiguity on a regular basis.Do not take this class if you are interested in being treated like an intelligent adult rather that a ignorant and slow learning child. grade is based largely on iclicker

She is really not bad at all. I was very unsure about taking her at first, but she does a great job teaching the course. She is clear and helpful, and her 101 course has prepared me just as well for 102 as my friends who took the supposedly better teachers. Do not worry about taking her. There is nothing wrong with her

Lectures are pointless and boring. All you need to do is read the book carefully and take good notes on it and do practice tests before exams and this class is a breeze.

I would definitely suggest getting a different professor if possible. Here lectures are pointless and her teaching ability is sub-par at best. You won't learn anything from taking this class with her. Bonus: no attendance in lecture or section.

Her graphs seem to be made using microsoft paint. You don't need to go to lecture. All you need is the textbook. Trust me, if you don't go to lecture but study the textbook thoroughly you will easily pass this class with a good grade!

Does a good job. She is very willing to help you if you are having problems. The class has a good format, but really hard exams. The curve is generous though.

Sherrie is a wonderful person overall however lectures can be a bit boring. She tries so hard to be humorous and sometimes are jokes are actually funny. She uses alot of examples during lectures that are related to real life situations.

Useless class. Even for Pass/Fail engineering this class takes up way too much time. I'd go to lecture, she'd talk about some silly story, meanwhile I'd copy down the lecture slides and leave early. Don't bother going to class, just read off of the slides. Make sure you have a good GSI.

this class is unbearable. if you're good at econ you do not need to go to lecture. even if you're not good you don't need to go because it is useless. sherrie is a horrible at giving lectures and her slides are so confusing. PRAY for a good gsi or go to another section, better yet DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER!
Econ101
Do not take her class, take it with gerson or malone. Her slides are incomprehensible and she uses calculus. Overall she makes the concepts in this class much more difficult then then need to be. I had a tutor for this class who has a phd in econ and he was surprised by the difficult she made everything. SAVE YOUR GPA TRUST ME!
