Really great prof. Great personality and actually knows how to teach. Lecture did a good job of explaining any confusion from readings. GSI's were also really awesome. Went to see him for Office Hours and he gave me a lot of insight in the Poli Sci field. One of the best professors I've dealt with in my time at Michigan.

Just read the textbook and take lots of notes. After reading a chapter go back and type up answers to the chapter end questions. The tests are almost 100% based on those chapter end questions. Stay awake and pay attention in class. If you do all of that getting an A+ is easy. The essays are so easy if you actually pay attention in class.

He was a somewhat engaging lecturer. However, the majority of the stuff he discusses in class is directly from his textbook. Grades on papers and exams are arguably arbitrary, and he does not seem that interested in actually helping students on an individual basis.

He genuinely cares about his students and their success. Although the material is a bit dry and repetitive, it's a relatively good course. Morrow also has a sense of humor and is very helpful in office hours. If you want a relatively easy course with a low workload and a good professor, this course is for you.

Professor Morrow is a great lecturer and really knows his stuff. The textbook used in class was written by Morrow and is very important in class. Lecture is not mandatory but is very helpful in reinforcing the materials from readings and is sometimes enjoyable. Great professor overall.

Great lecturer with a sense of humor. Level of engagement depends on GSI, as they each have their own requirements for assignments. Overall really interesting class, although mostly based on theory instead of current events.

Great lectures and usage of the textbook (that he wrote himself). Very clear and passionate, covers a wide range of topics within World Politics. Assignments are moderately challenging and grading usually reflects efforts.

Overall this was an average class. Morrow's lectures were not boring, but they also were not interesting. I did most of my learning in the discussion classes. The book was totally unnecessary, as the material was taught in lecture and in discussion. Papers are graded somewhat harshly. Professor Morrow is a nice and sometimes funny guy.

I loved this class! He is an awesome professor who really explains all of the material with clarity! There is two papers and two exams! It is not a class about current world events. If you aren't interested in political science and the theories behind it then don' take it! I went to lecture a lot but i never read book!

Professor Morrow is not the best of lecturers, however, he runs a very good class. He is very clear with directions and clearly has a ton of knowledge on the subject. The class is interesting, and if you read, you'll do well.

His lectures are packed full of information, but he makes all of his PPTS accessible and really tries to give you resources on Ctools. He shouldn't be the reason you don't take this class! I hate reading a bad review on here, and second guessing whether to take it or not... TAKE IT

Easy class. Two papers and two exams. Lecture is the same as the book, so I stopped going to lecture after a while.

If you are coming into this class thinking you will learning about politics in various world events, don't take it. This class is completely theory based and if you do not spit out the definition in you papers or on your exams, they'll claim you have no clue what you're talking about.

He is a very boring lecturer. His power points teach you nothing you can't learn from the book. However the book is very poorly written and there are lots of gramatical errors as well as switching ideas around, i.e. wrong definition of borrower and lender. GSI's determine your whole grade and exams are easy. Don't voice opinion if conservative.

Don't be scared off by other comments, Professor Morrow is a solid lecturer. Sure, the material in PS160 can get a little dry at times, but he always tries to keep it interesting. The grade is completely dependent on your GSI, so beware.

Your grade is completely dependent on your GSI. Exams are all essay, and aren't very difficult. But that also depends on your GSI because they grade your exam. The class is really subjective, and they like it when you spit out definitions. Just make sure you memorize the definitions and obvious facts and get on your GSI's good side.

Good lecturer, keeps the class moving. Has some entertaining asides every now and then. Tough class, and much of the experience depends on your GSI. Highly recommended if you're willing to work for you grade.

Hard to get an A in this class, but incredibly easy to get a B. The GSIs grade difficult across the board. The material is pretty straightforward but the essays on the papers and exams are incredibly vague and it is hard to do very well on them. The book is typo-ridden and confusing. Avoid this class at all costs and go with Polsci 101 or 140.
