very passionate- especially on critical thinking and analysis, limited class participation. my summer class started with 10, ended with 5. you get what you put into the class- I literally read the whole book the last 5 weeks. I only survived because I've had poly sci classes before. very smart and sometimes hard to understand. tests are fair
Professor Duquette is fair and balanced; he encourages and welcomes opinions from conservatives, which is great since I'm one. Outstanding class and I really enjoyed it.
I had Duquette for Public Opinion. He is very intelligent and a pretty cool guy. He gave exam questions in advance. I will probably end up with like a C but that's my own fault. Only word of advice for you Duquette is, maybe try using clearer language for your questions. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU'RE NOT A POLI SCI MAJOR, HE IS A FAIR BUT TOUGH GRADER.
Hey I actually get politics now! GREAT guy, if you're used to sitting on your a** and people handing you A's, go elsewhere. Gives the exact test questions days before test, you already know how your gonna do before the exam. If you do poor its YOUR fault. Great lectures, funny! Just do whats expected, maybe a little extra, and you'll love him too.
