He is very funny and passionate about the subject. He doesn't do powerpoints! He only lectures but it's interesting for a 3hr Saturday class. Take him, you won't regret it!

He was very response and clear. Submit your articles and projects early to get approval of credit. Be sure to study the chapter review questions since his questions are based on these review questions.

Easy A for this class. Get his review book that is not mandatory for the class! All the test answers are in there. 3 multiple choice test and 2 mandatory essays and that is all you do.

He doesn't use power points or even notes, just writes down topics on the board and tells us everything about them. 3 multiple choice tests, the questions come DIRECTLY from his lecture note textbook. 2 easy essays. Offers A LOT of extra credit. VERY knowledgeable about history. Definitely recommended

I took this class online and it was very unclear what he wanted. He refuses to meet during his office hours because it is an "online" class. So I have many unanswered questios. There are no online lectures, videos, ANYTHING. I am teaching myself. I do not recommend.

Professor makes it intresting but its pure lecture so it gets boring sometimes. But this class is SUPER easily. Get his outline book and your ready for his 3 test. Every review question on the book is exactly whats on the test. Takes roll on a random basis. Easy A. Highly recommend.

Prof. Reynolds is an awesome dude. He makes his classes incredibly interesting definitely if you consider the fact that they were purely lecture. Definitely get his outline book. EVERY SINGLE QUESTION FOR HIS TESTS ARE IN THAT BOOK!!! Definitely attend class because he takes role randomly. The only difficult part was the essays but you only have 2.

I took his class but now I?m freaking out about my attendance! I accidently turned in a large green book instead of a small one and he marked my grade down a WHOLE GRADE. every test is from his book so just get that and you?ll do great. easy class, just super boring lectures /:

Professor Reynolds is the greatest professor that I have had thus far at CSUN. He reaches out to all students, especially those who have no particular interest in history, and makes the class extremely enjoyable for them. He uses no visuals whatsoever yet manages to hold the attention of, and devote all of his time towards helping, every student.

Showed up late 20 minutes late the first day. Doesn't really seem interested in helping students grasp concepts. Either you get it or you don't.

Excellent professor. For an 8AM history class, I looked forward to it a lot because he made the lectures really interesting. He gives a lot of extra credit and basically gives out the questions to his tests and essays in his optional textbook. It's a shame that CSUN decided to let him go.

This class was stupid. He doesn't base your grade on your test scores, but rather on attendance. Absolutely ridiculous, what kind of teacher fails a student based upon attendance? That doesnt prove what i learned at all, cause i still did good on tests. Good thing he's not coming back to teach, or so i heard.

Very good professor. Class was pretty easy. It's a shame that he is not gonna be teaching at CSUN next semester. The school shouldn't of fired one of the better professors at the school.

Awesome guy! I don't like history at all but he made it easier to do well in the class! Just study the essays and the multiple choice in the back of the review book. ONLY BUY THE REVIEW BOOK! It's all you really need to get A's on your multiple choice tests :D Big class but he occasionally does call role.

He's an awesome teacher! I never really liked history until I took his class! Just buy the book he wrote, highlight the events he talks about as he lectures and study them and you'll for sure get an A, the lowest a B in his class. All professors should be like him.

made history really fun. don't buy the required book. buy the book that HE WROTE. it's full of ALL his lectures and has the ANSWERS to the mult choice tests. he's a bit picky on the essay portion of tests but gives you all the prompts before hand. let's you skip a test/essay if you did well on the first. says he doesn't curve. final is worth 50%.
