"Would take again" "Amazing lectures"

I had this class for 3 hours once a week. I believe he showed up for lecture only 3 times all semester, which is too bad because his lectures were great. TA did almost every lecture and was only OK. easy class but I wish the professor actually showed up. Buy his book and you should get a good grade without much effort.

What made me SUPER annoyed about Reynold's class is that I aced all of his exams, both essay and multiple choice. Only thing is attendance is mandatory and he lowers your grade after more than 3 absences. I took the Saturday class and couldn't attend a few times so he gave me a B- in the end. Buy his optional book! Helps more than the other book!

He's super easy. If you buy his book you already have the answers to the multiple choice on both midterms and final. And he has two essay's which are worth most of your grade, but he gives you the essay questions in the beginning of the semester. Just need to study for the essay. He likes detail. Take him!

"Big time extra credit" "Clear grading criteria"

Easy pass. 3 test - mc + essay. 1 essay optional. mc questions found in optional book. only have to study hard for in class essays, but he tells you the essay questions in syllabus. No surprises. Makes history fun even if you don't like. Sub teaches a lot cuz hes head of department. Sub is just as cool - majored in pop culture history.

Took this class last semester on saturday, what a joke. This guy shows up three days during the semester, once for the first day, midterm, and final. Other than that he sent his buddy from CoC to lecture us for three hours with no visual aid, just him standing and talking for three interminable hours. Avoid at all costs, he doesn't care at all.

HIST 112 Taken for Credit: Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Very enjoyable class! Textbook is easy to read and questions in textbook comprise the bulk of his tests. Read the text: Ace the test. Assignments should be submitted early because it is tough to get used to the way he wants his work to be turned in. Once you get in the swing of things, it is a very smooth class and fun at times. Take it!

Only textbook you need is the one written by him, the multiple choice are in the tests and study 3 out of the 5 essays. Class isn't too bad except for the essays

Read the syllabus carefully and FOLLOW IT. Study 2-3/5 questions(try not to aim for the easiest on the final). All questions on mult. choice exams are in his book. He doesn't help during class because he covers a lot of info, so take good notes. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he does randomly do roll check, and you miss info if you're not there.

You have to do all the studying on your own he provides no actual structure to the class. mandatory project every week and on several occasions he has rejected them without even reading them, i know this because when i confronted him about one he immediately changed his mind and approved it. i don not recommend this professor

He was very response and clear. Submit your articles and projects early to get approval of credit. Be sure to study the chapter review questions since his questions are based on these review questions.

He doesn't use power points or even notes, just writes down topics on the board and tells us everything about them. 3 multiple choice tests, the questions come DIRECTLY from his lecture note textbook. 2 easy essays. Offers A LOT of extra credit. VERY knowledgeable about history. Definitely recommended

I took this class online and it was very unclear what he wanted. He refuses to meet during his office hours because it is an "online" class. So I have many unanswered questios. There are no online lectures, videos, ANYTHING. I am teaching myself. I do not recommend.
