HIST 112 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Very enjoyable class! Textbook is easy to read and questions in textbook comprise the bulk of his tests. Read the text: Ace the test. Assignments should be submitted early because it is tough to get used to the way he wants his work to be turned in. Once you get in the swing of things, it is a very smooth class and fun at times. Take it!

HIS 271 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: B+

Only textbook you need is the one written by him, the multiple choice are in the tests and study 3 out of the 5 essays. Class isn't too bad except for the essays

HIST271 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Read the syllabus carefully and FOLLOW IT. Study 2-3/5 questions(try not to aim for the easiest on the final). All questions on mult. choice exams are in his book. He doesn't help during class because he covers a lot of info, so take good notes. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he does randomly do roll check, and you miss info if you're not there.

Read books and attend class and you will earn an A. He is so amazing and makes History interesting. Wish other CSUN History professors had the same passion for History.

You have to do all the studying on your own he provides no actual structure to the class. mandatory project every week and on several occasions he has rejected them without even reading them, i know this because when i confronted him about one he immediately changed his mind and approved it. i don not recommend this professor

He is very funny and passionate about the subject. He doesn't do powerpoints! He only lectures but it's interesting for a 3hr Saturday class. Take him, you won't regret it!

He was very response and clear. Submit your articles and projects early to get approval of credit. Be sure to study the chapter review questions since his questions are based on these review questions.

Easy A for this class. Get his review book that is not mandatory for the class! All the test answers are in there. 3 multiple choice test and 2 mandatory essays and that is all you do.
