Professor Chandler is really a fantastic teacher and human being. Very charming and always encourages students to be better. He doesn't like to straight lecture; likes interaction. Never treats anyone unfairly. Was nice for him to share with us his career development in last class. Cute hair and smile. Exams cover books

He's the man honestly. required the class to write weekly blogs reflecting news from the political world and comment on each others work. the midterm and final were essays. he takes a while giving grades back. his lectures are intense and he does tend to get boring, but if you interupt him and have something to say the class will run much smoother.

This guy is incredible!!! so inspirational, and really helped to make politics more interesting and relatable. No question was too dumb, and he revealed so many layers of the political process I had no idea about. He's also really charming and cute for an older guy. TAKE HIS AM GOV CLASS!

Very good and passionate professor. Works hard to help students with writing and to understand politics. Class is not easy, Tests and exams are hard but in good way - forces you to learn. Likes share his political stuff, TV & radio. Gives extra credit. Great class. Take him.

overall he is the best professor in hunter, i saw in the bottom there is a comment saying that he doesnt count extra credit, i am sure that he does count the extra credit to the grade. Also he make the class interesting, i love for being his student.

Mr. Chandler is my favorite professor at Hunter so far. There is a lot of work, although it is distributed nicely throughout the semester. He is also extremely generous with extra credit. Take this class!

overall, i think professor chandler, he is the best pol sci professor , he has 4 paper in total, thats all for your grade, some extra credit by posting news on bb, he is helpful, and nice. he allow paper revision. he is the best professor at hunter.

Prof Chandler not only has a passion for the field,he knows how to transfer it to his students. The syllabus is well defined and planned. There is a fair amount of reading to cover, with the expectation of participation (you will be called at random but it sparks interest!). Very fair grading of work with extensive feedback. A MUST TAKE!

What an incredible class. Really a phenomenal professor, and quite brilliant. Gave me a lot of advice on my career goals, and is really passionate about getting people excited about politics. A total GEM!

Really great professor and person. Provided a lot of help and feedback as well as guidence on my political science major. Made Research design and statistics really understandable for people new to the topic. Expects a lot from students and really challenges thinking. Treats people fairly both in grades and discussion.
