Racquet was an interesting creature. His lectures were of no use to anyone. DO NOT GO! Go to his office hours if you need help AND use his website. You will ACE dis shiz.. After Exam #1 and Exam #2, go to his office hours, he will find you points. Tough course, great professor. Means well, interesting, take him.

Not the greatest at teaching the material in class, but he's helpful at his office hours. You don't need calculators for his exams. Also, when the exams are graded you can look over them with him, and usually he'll throw points at you. Great guy, I don't understand why anyone would say otherwise.

Online quizzes are exactly like the homeworks and he posts step by step homework solutions. The exams are easy if you can do the homeworks and quizzes

Hardest math professor at Albany , knows material but horrible at teaching it to the class, moves way too fast and cant understand how to slow down when asked to. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR

Avoid at all costs! He is a terrible professor, does not elaborate at all, rarely does he write out the formulas he uses and leaves the student questioning what formula to use. My roommate is a better teacher. The examples he uses are very random and confusing. Pick another professor.

Professor Racquet treats this class as if it's your only class. Homeworks are lengthy and time consuming, especially since note taking in class is difficult as his lectures as useless. He is possibly the worst professor I've ever had, and made this topic confusing. AVOID!

He is an awful teacher and doesn't allow calculators for exams. Lectures are off topic, and many of his examples are irrelevant when it comes to the homework. Some weeks you'll have assignments due every day, and they are confusing and take a while. Avoid this class if possible!!

Definitely not a bad teacher. His class is extremely easy to get an A in as long as you do the homework and all the practice problems. The course is completely straight forward. Other than that he is one weird dude.

Not that bad. Have to do the homework and look at his website online to do well. Lets you bring cheat sheet with whatever you want on it to the tests as well as a formula sheet. If you put the time in you should do well, unless you're horrible at math.

This class is pretty easy; I got an A because of the massive curve and cause I aced the final. you definitely do not need to go to class.for the fianl I taught myself the material on his online sections which was the easiest way to understand the content on the exams. plenty of resources to understand the tests regardless of the uselessness of clas

Terrible all around teacher, not helpful and not clear about what he's teaching. I literally had to spend hours teaching myself stats because he didn't. The class average, (out of over 150 students) on the mid-term was a 54. Enough said?

So here's the thing. He isn't the best classroom teacher you will ever have. His lectures are fast, unorganized, and often off point. No calculators on tests. However, during office hours he is incredibly helpful and will do anything to help you.

He is clearly a great guy! Anyone who critizes him obviously never went to his office hrs. He will bend over backwards to help anyone. So what if he is a bit quirky, he knows his stuff and cares about his students. Gives you every chance to do well! GO TO OFFICE HOURS!!!

He doesn't teach step by step how to do things, you are required to learn them on your own through the hmwks. This guy slides across the room instead of walking, throws his eraser in the air to show how a parabola looks, refers to numbers as creatures, and says that "if your going to be dividing by 17 you might as well be dividing by a unicorn."

I do not understand anything he says. He talks too fast and doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. I'm not good at math to begin with, but I am so confused during his lectures.

Easiest professor I have ever had. Be sure to go to class and take notes of his examples and see him for extra help as he will bend over backwards to give you more points. His quizes are exactly the same as his tests so be sure you understand them. If you make an effort he will gladly scrape any extra points he can for you. Easiest A ever.
