SPAN 201 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Curriculum is completely inept. She LITERALLY does not teach the class. Instead she splits you into groups to read the material yourselves and then come up with a lesson to teach the rest of the class. The class is 2.5 hours but she only gives 1h for exams and then you grade them after. Basically she makes her students do her entire job for her.

BEST SPANISH TEACHER EVER!! She has such an amazing personality and she truly, and i mean TRULY cares about her students.Usually everything is clear, but NOBODY is perfect. If you respect her, she shows respect back.Ive seen students who were EXTREMELY rude to her, and she still does her best to help them! Just attend class and it will be a breeze!

she wants the students to pass, but struggles to properly explain what she wants and struggles at properly answering clarifying questions. Overall fun and easy, but an easy A!

Martha can be very difficult at times. Book is used everyday and attendance is mandatory. She is hard to undetstand her material. When asked for help good luck with that. But She offers lots of extra credit but lots of hmk too. She truly cares about her students . Pay attention in class , participate , and do all of the hmk and you will pass..

The class is not very easy, and not she's not clear on anything. She really cares about her students and is fun, its just not the easiest class in the world.

If you've never taken spanish before DON'T take her class. I was the only one in the class that had never taken spanish and I dropped! She barley speaks any english in class and expects you to know everything already. She doesn't help you understand and homework was very hard the first week! Will be a good class if you know some spanish already.

I thought Palomar would have excellent Spanish teachers with all the Spanish/English speakers in the area, I was mistaken. Martha barely speaks English, gets very mad when her vague instructions are not followed exactly. She accuses people of not doing college level work then has us make crosswords and play bingo.

English is her second language, so if you're trying to understand the tranlation from English to Spanish...GOOD LUCK!!! Her exams are mprehensive and when you ask her for more understanding...GOOD LUCK with that!!! Plus side to taking her...you can totally pass on doing extra credit alone! :)

Martha is a wonderful teacher. If you have perfect attendance you don't have to take the final. She does everything out of the work book and text book. Homework is given pretty much every class. Study for the tests, do the homework, and get extra points for writing on the board. She is really helpful and I am going to take her for Spanish 102
