Great prof. The way all ece profs should teach. Unfortunately, none of them do (expect Heunis)

Course notes is extremely well-written and informative. His lectures are also very interesting. Great course, great prof. Exams are a bit difficult but you learn a lot.

TA's were not helpful, tended to avoid students during lab sessions. Did not get our marks back after the first lab! Very lazy and unprofessional. In the end, he changed our final marks and we have no idea what we got on the labs or project.

Very motivated to help students. He makes the course very interesting, even if it is hard. The project takes lots of time, but you can get help easily from prof and TAs.

He is dedicated and tries hard. You may give him brownie points for that. However, his exams are not easy and questions are imprecise. Makes a lot of mistakes in class. He keeps says he modifies and corrects slides to help the students understand better each year, but still keeps finding mistakes in his slides!

He sometimes confuses himself during his lectures - not the sharpest prof out there, but is EXTREMELY helpful to students. He actually cares about the students (even to memorize and call them by names when answering questions in lectures). He is on top of answering emails and newgroups - even on weekends and evenings!

Prof. Aagaard is one of the best digital design professors at UW. He knows his material very well and his course materials are extremely good because he has been refining them over the years. The project is what makes ECE427 an amazing course, and he does a great job making sure all of the CAD tools are running smoothly. He is extremely dedicate

His in-class example are confusing as he often finds errors as he does examples. Course notes pretty good but exams a bit long. He goes the extra effort for the project though.

Has a nasty tendency to write up slides the morning of, sometimes leading to hilarity as he tries to figure out what he was thinking at the time. Really helpful prof, would go out of his way to help you, really knows his stuff. It'd be nicer if he was more organized but eh.

Good Proff...easy to understand...the course is interesting enough to attend and the course notes aren't half bad, alotta material to cover though. Oh and the proj wus hell!

great prof. Lectures were always stimulating. He covers an incredible amount of interesting material, but he makes it easy to digest. Great course notes too - $18 total and they're better that almost any text I've seen. Project was a bumpy ride, but still a very valuable exercise.
