Econ201
He is boring and has a monotonous voice, midterms are mostly conceptual and interprative, he is not helpful
ECON200
He seemed passionate about teaching, and I enjoyed his anecdotes. He didn't rely on the book, so no reading or homework at all. Everything could be gained through his old midterms he provided or the TAs. However, this made his lectures mostly pointless (I stopped attending after the 1st midterm). He was arrogant at times too.

Leffer has the magical voice that puts students to sleep. He meant well but never seemed to completely relate and communicate with students. He often times bounced between subjects that were way to advanced for the class and the actual material which made learning from him extremely difficult. I would not reccommend taking his class to anyone.
ECON200
Leffler was very enthuiastic teacher but, in my opinion, VERY HARD!! Some of his lectures had me wondering what it had to do with anything! There is no textbook, however, it was helpful to read it anyway. It is REALLY IMPORTANT to attend lecture otherwise the test will come around and you'll leave everything blank. I think the tests were TOO HARD!

Mr.Leffler..oh what can I say? lol! He sure is a funny teacher, funny examples, yet very qualified at what he does! He is very captivating and determined 4 each and every one of us to understand his material. He uses no book, must attend lecture (even though you stay confused), & tests are a mess!! STUDY HARD and expect lots of quiz's! He is so so!

No HW, but still hard to get a good grade. Leffler was awfully boring, but you could tell he had passion. The tests were REALLY HARD. He made you analyze things in ways that he didn't really directly teach. My TA retaught everything with examples. I did fine on quizzes but bad on tests, even after studying a lot. Tests were too hard in my opinion.

Prof Leffler's passion is obvious. He is one of the most entertaining lecturers at the U. Tests can be difficult though becuase they require you analyze problems on many levels.
econ200
The professor has a very amicable personality. I found the lictures alive and fun. As far as the midterms go, you can get a 2.7-3 without much studying; 3.5-3.8 if you put in quality study tme for midterms and final.

Boring lecturer, finishes many sentences with "mmk" and likes to fluctuate his voice to the point of annoyance. Tests were not too difficult and could be prepared for by reviewing practice questions. TAs are hit and miss -- mine was brainless. Book is a waste of time if using Silberberg edition, I read 2 chapters and then left it to collect dust
ECON 431
knows more about antitrust economics than anyone in the university. so listen to him. he has put his time in, gotten success out.
Econ 101
Boring as all hell...I fell asleep everyday...not too tough of a class though, just go to your sections
ECON 200
The quizzes were incredibly easy but the tests were sooo damn hard. I found sections to not be very helpful at all. They didn't really do anything to help prepare you for tests. This class sucked!!!
ECON 200
I freaking hated the class and the TAs that tought it, talk about not being helpful to students!
Econ 200
I had to fight just to get through his Econ 200 class. The tests were awful - almost impossible to study for. TA was better.
