This class is one of the worst classes I have ever taken. His lectures are dry, dense, and draining. His 70-minute classes feel longer than my 105-minute classes. I've never hated a class so much.

If you can stand nonstop lecturing for nearly 2 hours straight every class. then you'll be ok. No tests, but essays were a little hard because he always wants arguments

This class is irrelevant. All of the topics brought up came to the conclusion of "we dont know" or "we were wrong, there is no connection". i was really excited for the class, but it was a total bummer. only a midterm and a final, so major pressure on verrrry hard tests.

Domhoff is not a good teacher, and I would not recommend him to other students. If you're smart, you can get an A, but it has less to do with actual learning and thinking, than with simply taking his side on various issues and showing him that you agree with his views. He does not encourage critical thinking or questioning - just conformity.

This guy is so old, so boring, so full of himself. Even though he sounds enthusiastic, siting in his class is like watching grass grow. He should of stayed retired because he and his teaching style definitely below in the last century.

An amazing mind from the Hanna Arendt generation. What a pleasure to partake in his lessons and learn from him.
