ECON 1 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

She is very clear and well informed. This was my first Econ class and I wish the rest of my professors would be more like her. The books in the class were informative, not only providing me with information on basic economics but also on what role it is taking in modern society. Tests are hard but curved and the workload is fair. Highly recommended.

Econ 1 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

My first teacher at UCSC - she left a very good impression!! Her lectures are great, easy to follow, interesting to listen to...The textbook is very clear and the homework is helpful. The extra reading really put things in perspective. People who didn't like this class are just no good slackers with bad attitudes.

Good professor but difficult tests. Half of the class fails her midterms and thus a F is curved to a C. Made us get an additional book just because her name is in it. She said she disgrees with EVERYTHING THE BOOK SAYS EXCEPT FOR HER PART. Freaking BS. Made 500 students spend $30 on what she has to say in a page. STUPID.

Econ 1 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Her lectures are amazing, if you go and listen you don't have to read the book. Her tests aren't super easy but it's easy to get a good grade because of the curve. Section isn't helpful at all almost all the TA's are impossible to understand, but her lectures are extremely easy to follow and definantly help with the tests. Great Teacher!

MicroEcon Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

She's mean in person but a great teacher. Don't talk about anything other than the final or midterm during that week...she gets pretty mad. Stay focused and keep up on the reading. You'll learn a lot from her..she's all business.

I am pretty interested in Econ, so if you want to do well, do not wait till the last minute to do aplia homework, study the midterm reviews and read the entire book, it will help. Also draw graphs for everything. She is very clear and not a hard teacher and I strongly recommend going to talk to her after a midterm.

Really clear lectures, tests weren't that hard, but only if you studied. In response to that one guy who called the freshman of this class "immature"...half the frosh in that class are prolly doing better than you.so U stop crying!

Economics Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

overall very good and clear lectures if you pay attention, but exams are more tricky and difficult. section and TAs are not helpful at all..they are all very difficult to understand. students earn their grades, so this is not an easy class. learned alot though.
