It is a rare occurrence at this level of higher education (community college) to find a professor so informed and dedicated to the success of his students. Overall what you put into this class you will get out of it. If you're not afraid of hard work and you give it your all, Cox will help you become a better writer.
Cox is hands down the most dedicated professor I have ever had. He corrected my draft 9 times!His personality is a bit overwhelming but he is more than willing to help.
Best teacher in all my 3 years of education. He's not only helpful in the classroom but in helping you land a job/internship. He knows the journalism field better than anyone else, he did tv, newspaper, and magazine. If you want to make it in the journalism world, take Cox! Don't past up this opportunity of a life time--you'll regret it if you dont
This guy most be a better teacher than he is a substitute. While he was subing for our english class, he took plenty of time to answer his phone, talk about his accomplishments in tabloid journalism (which is the lowest form of literature), and put down those that are on financial aid. He should never sub again!
