Class was easy, no test, but there was five paper you will have to write. The teacher is old and loves to share old war stories. If you agree with this teacher or pretend so you will receive a good grade. Grading is very unpredictable. Wagner will also not answer his emails so don't even try.

this class changed how I viewed some things. I encourage you to take this class as it challenges you to think from different point of views. He's very helpful and funny. He has some great stories. There was no homework just essays to write. There was like one essay due once a month. Easy and rewarding class.

Learned more in his class than all my classes combined. People who are complaining about this professor are the exact people he talks about in his lectures. People that are one minded and does not question authority and power. He opens your mind up about a lot of things, not only do you learn about Juvenile Delinquency, but you learn lot about life

Amazing teacher! Entertaining stories and energetic! A lot of lecture but it is important to listen to them for papers, don't be afraid to take notes! He likes to argue with students so don't be shy. Highly recommend taking Juvenile Delinquency with him!

Easy class, frustrating professor. Contradicts himself and uses unrealistic examples, also enjoys debating students to make them look foolish to bolster his ego. But on the bright side, he doesn't hold anyone to a high standard of responsibility so it's easy o BS the course and get an A.

This clss changed my view of how kids become juvenile delinquents. Helped me understand why I behave as I do. Very helpful, very interesting.

The greatest thing I learned in this class is to look at things in another light. Dr. Wagner is very approachable, with that said, very liberal. Don't expect to learn much from him. He teaches more about his personal opinions more than anything. If you do argue with him, you better have a good answer or he will tell that your opinion is wrong.

Great teacher, but may frustrate you at times. Don't be afraid to argue with him because he loves it. Come to class for the participation points and take notes on his lectures. You will need them for your midterm essay, final essay and basic themes. He has passion for what he believes & it's awesome listening to him.

I found this class very challenging. I took it as a general and having to write essays is not my strong point and I felt like he was somewhat a hard grader as well. I wouldn't recommend unless it is in your major.

Easy A. He's a decent professor, if you don't argue with him. He challanges you to think against yourself and common beliefs and says he is open-minded, but if you express your opinion and it is different than his he will belittle you in every way he can.

This is a winner! I loved this professor. He is open and honest (I trust him). I actually learned something by doing papers and exams. He does not suffer fools. Don't expect multiple choice or true-false. Makes college worth the tuition.

Strengths: philosophical knowledge, novel perspective on juvenile delinquency.Easy A if you're not an idiot. Weaknesses: Consistently at least 5 minutes late to class. No "lesson plans." His notes on the chalk board are useless (just circles and squares). Extra: This should be a writing intensive class. All tests are essay.

Class is tough to follow, but if you go to his office for help, he will help you so you will understand the material, I recommend doing this, it will make the class easier and better

Wagner is the best professor I have ever had! Class is extremely easy. There are two essay exams (which he goes over every question prior to the exam) and two book reviews. Individuals who do not like him tend to have a very republican viewpoint. He is a liberal, and a genius!

He is a great teacher. By far my favorite professor at MSU. He is very opinionated but he will listen if you disagree with him. He LOVES people who speak up in class and he is very funny. Try to get him for at least on of your classes.

Wagner is a nice guy, his teaching method however is just...weird. The book reviews are fairly easy and are not graded very tough, the tests however are a different story. They are written exams and you basically have to agree on what he thinks, if you don't you'll be shredded. Not a bad teacher, but could be better

had two essay exams, and two 4 page papers. He's very opinionated and will try and argue with someone until he proves his point. He is a fantastic teacher and very funny. also an easy grader. As long as you make an effort, you should walk out with an A

He is the most hypocritical person I've ever met. He'll try and change you as a person and won't take any of your opinions into consideration.
