His required work is not difficult, however you cannot slack, rather its quality over quantity. 8-short papers is perfect without driving a student too crazy with work. If each 3-4 page paper you give rocks, is well done with ref. he give you an A every time! He refers to the concepts in the books and likes when students gives thoughtful opinions.

Good teacher, mumbles a lot, need a hearing aid to listen to him. boring class, knowledgeable though, good class if you pay attention.

He is a great professor and very knowledgeable. You could learn a lot in his class ONLY when you were able to keep yourself awake throughout a class. He is old, therefore; students should expect an learning environment that need more concentration from self. If you do homework seriously, read books and really taking notes. You will be fine.

Don Booker is a great Professor. Well yea he is a boring professor for those who do not pay attentions or you might not liberal enough to understand his lecture. We have to understand that this is not a high school nor bachelors, so therefore i can't complain about it. I enjoy being in his class because i am learning. He is very talented.

A nice professor, but absent minded at times. Difficult to fail if you know what you're doing and write a good paper. Test's are full of grammatical and spelling errors. Will talk for the entire class without a break, often about irrelevant unrelated topics. You have to ask him what you need to do because the syllabus won't tell you.

Don't worry about what others may say. This is an excellent professor. One paper, mid-term & final exam all true and false.

I was scared of taking the class after I read the bad reviews here. My view: he is a kind professor with a kind heart. His syllabus is mean, but he is not. He gives hints for exams reading. 2 exams, 1 paper. Easy jobs. He always tries to understand students. His only requirement: Following Booker's Exam Guideline. Make that, a guarantee A.

Talks for the entire 2hours and 40min with no break. Interesting stuff if you have the attention span. Easy A. No weekly homework, midterm and final consist of T/F questions. Gives A's on final paper if you have required amount of pages. A little confusing on what he wants but trust me easy A if you have half a brain. No presentations! Yipee!!

My Goodness this guy likes to hear himself talk. Why even bother showing up, if you fall asleep in front of him, he doesn't care! Ask him a question and he gets very defensive. He is brilliant, yet only in his own world. Nice guy though, fair grader.

Horrible professor, mumbles and doesn't teach a thing. Senile, borring and useless. I can't have enought coffee for his class. Don't take him, you won't learn a thing since he jumps from one topic to another w/o explaining a thing!Books r useless,like him

He's not an easy professor, but you will learn a lot! He gives many interesting examples. If you scan through the books you will get an A on the exam.

I implore you to drop this course if you in it now and DO NOT TAKE any classes that he teaches, believe me it will be the best decision you make in your life. Gives teaching a bad name!
